  It was easy and convenient for me to have my window replaced. They came to my job and installed the window in under 2 hours.

  Realized when I was booking my appointment that Safelite is exploiting customers using insurance. They charge $98 for mobile service if you are using an insurance company that doesn’t waive the fee. However, if you pay cash, they say they’ll waive the “regular price” of $49.99 to come to you FREE of cost. I tried to ask why one type of customer is paying DOUBLE the “regular price” while the other type of customer is getting it for free. Their customer service agents only go off their scripts, they didn’t even understand what I was asking and then told me I’m entitled to my “feelings.” It’s not feelings, it’s a factual discrepancy and genuine question. Lost my business today, so disappointing but glad I realized what type of company Safelite is before proceeding. EDIT TO RESPOND TO THE OWNER’S RESPONSE: Literally again, Safelite is either not understanding the issue or gaslighting to pretend they don’t. My issue is NOT the insurance rates. My issue is that Safelite charges cash customers $0 for mobile service, instead of the “regular price” of $49.99, but then when a customer wants to use insurance and their insurance doesn’t cover mobile service, they DOUBLE THE PRICE TO $98.00 that customer would pay out of pocket. You are valuing one type of customer more than another and you are punishing customers who use their insurance by making them themselves pay (NOT their insurance paying for this $98, so it has literally nothing to do with “insurance rates”) I hope this helps other people realize what kind of company Safelite is before doing business. Here in LA, there are tons of better options who don’t pull shady tricks.

  1st off... the whole process was amazing!! filed a claim with insurance and just paid the deductible... we were in constant communication and the appt. was set... our technician was Michael and he was nothing short of unbelievable!! extremely knowledgeable, meticulous and so friendly!! would recommend highly

  My windhshield replace+recal appointment was scheduled at 10AM and I was quoted 2-3 hours. They weren't done until 3pm -- 2 hours behind schedule. I also had a dashcam mount; I had to ask twice that the mount and wiring be preserved - on the second ask, it was treated as new information which makes me worry that they would've just thrown it away. They also unwired the dashcam wiring without tucking it back where it originally was, so I had to flag someone down to take care of that. What a waste of a beautiful Saturday

  If I could give ZERO STARS I would! I went to Safelite AutoGlass with a tiny chip in my windshield and was assured by the Technician that when he was done - I would see a tiny faint pinhole of a translucent spot when he was finished. Turns out - when he was done, that tiny chip was 10x WORSE! it spidered out over 3 Inches! Now I have to replace my Windshield!
