    An Excellent Rental Experience! Renting from National at LAX was incredibly smooth from start to finish. The pickup and return processes were quick, efficient, and completely hassle-free, making travel so much easier. The cars were clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition, with a great selection to choose from. The staff were friendly and professional, and everything was well organized. One of the easiest and most enjoyable car rental experiences I've had. I would definitely rent from this location again! 🚗👏

    I arrived at LAX late at night after a long and delayed international flight that left me exhausted. Incredibly, I was able to walk out of the terminal and catch a National shuttle within about 10 minutes. Upon arrival at the rental car center I followed the signage to National's agent booth that was on the same floor and area where the actual cars were. A lady named Cecilia, a National associate, approached me and began assisting me. She helped me complete a National profile that took just a few minutes and completed the rental paperwork quickly. Cecilia was seriously a pleasant and helpful associate who got me in a car and on my way without delay. After a long day of air travel it was truly a breath of fresh air to be taken care of by a sweet and efficient lady who genuinely cared about who she was serving. I highly recommend National Car Rental at LAX and if you're lucky, Cecilia will be there to serve you. Thank you Cecilia!

    I have been an Emerald Member for 30 years (since 1996) and have rented hundreds and hundreds of cars from National. But on my recent visit I was deeply hurt and humiliated. I used a wheelchair service at LAX due to a recent car accident. As the wheelchair attendant was helping me get on the shuttle bus at LAX the driver openly started yelling at me for taking too long. He offered zero help and never got out of his seat. He simply yelled that he couldn't wait any longer. He didn't just speak loudly. He yelled at me in an agitated voice. It even frightened the wheelchair agent. I was in my seat in less than 30 seconds, it was NOT that long. I have NEVER been so hurt and humiliated in public as I was by his callousness and mean behavior. I called National later that day (Driver #39) but other than a voicemail saying "sorry your experience was unpleasant" they have NOT responded. The abusive behavior towards a disabled senior was inexcusable and a very serious incident in my mind. But I have still received NO RESPONSE from my complaint with their Customer Service even after several weeks now. I am so disappointed in them. I'm a seasoned traveler (over 1 million miles with Delta) so I've seen a lot. This incident was outrageous. But National's lack of response is equally outrageous.

    I was really impressed with the customer service here at a time when it feels like customer service everywhere is getting worse. When I picked up a car for a one-way trip to Casper, Wyoming from LA, the attendant at the LAX garage went out out of her way To make sure we were happy with the car we picked. It made the start of a road trip with my son extra fun right off the bat. But I would specifically like to thank Jacob at the National location at Almouth Casper Airport in Wyoming. I returned the car there and they have a lockbox where you are supposed to drop the keys. I was about to board my plane when Jacob called to say I had accidentally left my house keys attached to the car rental keys. He ran them over and handed them to a TSA agent who got them to me minutes before my flight. I rarely write reviews for anything. But I was so impressed that this individual looked up my information and contacted me right away, saving me from a big hassle to get my keys back. Promote this guy. Give him all the money.

    Unprofessional and Abusive Conduct by National Shuttle Driver at LAX. A deeply upsetting and humiliating experience that my wife and I encountered with one of your shuttle drivers at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). We had just arrived at LAX after a 13-hour international flight and were exhausted from our journey. Each of us was handling two large checked bags in addition to our carry-on luggage. After patiently waiting at the designated National Car Rental shuttle pickup area, we were relieved to finally see the shuttle arrive. However, instead of stopping at the designated pickup location, the driver continued past the area where passengers were waiting. I waved to the driver in an effort to get his attention and indicate that we were waiting for the shuttle. The driver eventually stopped, but what followed was completely unacceptable. The driver exited the vehicle and immediately began yelling and screaming at me in an aggressive and confrontational manner. This occurred in full view of numerous passengers both on the shuttle and waiting on the curbside. Without any provocation whatsoever and before I had even spoken a single word, the driver shouted, “I will not allow you in my bus!” His tone and behavior were hostile, disrespectful, and intimidating. Despite being subjected to this verbal abuse, my wife and I managed to load our luggage onto the shuttle and proceed to the rental car facility. Throughout the encounter, we were left shocked, embarrassed, and deeply humiliated. As paying customers who had just completed a long international journey, we expected professional and courteous treatment. Instead, we were met with aggression, insults, and public humiliation. I have never experienced such rude, provocative, and disrespectful behavior from a customer service representative in my life. The driver’s conduct reflected very poorly on National Car Rental and created an extremely negative first impression of your company.
