The agent that assisted establishing the contract did not provide the written contract via email. I had to call to request the contract to have a full understanding of the terms and conditions that were vocalized when establishing the agreement and it felt rushed over the phone. I was advised that my appointment was scheduled for the following day at 8am after calling in and to not be late otherwise I would be charged extra. I was aLeo informed that the equipment would be ready at the time of my appointment. When I arrived at the installation appointment I was informed by the shop that the equipment was not there and that it wouldn’t arrive form another 4 hours. Once I return to the shop I was advised that the installation would take two hours, however, due to failure by Intoxalock, lacking to send the correct documents for the proper wiring on my vehicle. The shop did not have the wiring schematics on the diagram for my vehicle and it took the shop owner five hours to install the device. The shop owner tried looking up the wiring diagram online however italics did not have the diagram online for my vehicle 2022 Honda accord hybrid.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance.
