It was comfortable to drive and had plenty of space, which was exactly what I needed for the trip. The rental rate was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and condition of the vehicle. Everything went smoothly from pickup to return, and I was very satisfied with the overall experience. I would definitely rent from NextCar again on my next trip to Los Angeles.

I was a little confused at drop off but the detail guy said it was ok to leave and take the shuttle which was perfect because the shuttle was right there and I have difficulty walking too much. - CSClark SturdevantAug 25, 20265.0As a note, I consider 5 star reviews as a thumbs up thumbs down. Take that as you will. I had a good experience with my rental here. New, nice looking car. I like the business model here as well. Know that you will have to work within their framework to maintain their great pricing. Even where there are upcharges, though, they are reasonable. Shuttle pick up was a bit complicated but they describe it fairly well in the literature. They were not 24hrs available for car pick up, but again, clear about that. The saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't quite apply in my experience with this rental as they exceeded my expectations considering the very affordable and competitive quote. Given the opportunity I will use this company again and would recommend, with the above caveats, to friends.

Upon arrival to LAX, please proceed to the lower/arrivals level inner curb under the pink sign that reads "LAX SHUTTLES." Look for the bus that says "METROCONNECTOR/GREEN LINE" and inform the driver that you want to go to the FIRST STOP AFTER EXITING THE AIRPORT CALLED "Remote Rental Car Depot." Upon arrival to the "Remote Rental Car Depot," you will be met by the Priceless and Nextcar representative and you will be shuttled to the office.

What is local renter's policy?
- Local renters are allowed to drive within 100 miles radius of the rental location
- Local renters are allowed to drive only 50 free miles per day
- Additional miles are in the range of $.39 up to .79/mile depending on the class of the car.
Option to purchase unlimited miles are available:
- Sedans - $30/day
- Compact and mid-size SUVs- $45/day
- Minivan and full-size SUV and luxury cars - $85/day
- Debit cards are not accepted from local renters.

What is the security deposit policy?
The security deposit is the amount collected in addition to the total rental amount on the rental agreement. The renter is required to pay an additional $200 - $1,000 deposit for every rental every time. This security deposit cannot be used toward the rental.
The security deposit is returned to the renter's credit card when the rental car is returned after deducting any additional charges and incidentals. It takes 5-7 business days (depending on the bank) for the funds to appear as a credit on the credit card on file which was used to pay for the rental.
Security deposits can be used toward the incidentals that are determined at the time of the return for example:
- Late return fee
- Discrepancy in fuel returned
- After-hours drop-off charges
- Deductible on insurance
What is the debit card policy?
Debit cards are accepted only from renters having a valid boarding pass and return airline ticket that matches the rental dates. There is a one-time non-refundable fee of $75 assessed at the time of the rental.
Renters can only rent 4-door sedans on debit cards. The security deposit will be $500 up to $1,000 depending on the length of the rental and class of the car. It usually takes up to 15 days for refunds.
Are there any age restrictions on driving?
- We do not rent cars to any driver under the age of 21 years
- Drivers under the age of 25 (considered underage) are charged a fee of $25/day (underage fee)
- Underage drivers should always be in possession of full coverage insurance and major credit cards
- Debit cards are not accepted from underage drivers
- Declaration page of insurance must be submitted in advance
- Drivers under the age of 25 can only rent cars in the classes of ECAR CCAR ICAR
- Drivers over 65 are charged a fee of $25/day
What is the pre-rental vehicle inspection process?
At the time of the rental pickup, the renter should conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle by downloading the mobile app and/or follow these steps:
- Check for any pre-existing damage using our app or take a minimum of 8 pictures, covering all corners.
- Start the car and photograph the odometer displaying mileage and gas level.
- Capture a picture of the front and rear seats' interiors

- Prepaid rentals are NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-CHANGEABLE
