  The service at Safelite was very disappointing. I had a service today at Safelite for a windshield replacement, and picked it up with new damage/scratches on the front bumper that were NOT there before the service. When I told the store manager, Alex, about this situation, they immediately denied responsibility. He told me that he had a pre-inspection photo of my vehicle, but showed me a photo taken AFTER the vehicle had already been moved to their workspace. It was not actual photos proving the condition of my vehicle when it just arrived at the shop today. Alex said he could escalate the issue to their Service Quality Management team if I wanted, so I agreed to move forward with that process. However, based on the way this situation has been handled so far, I honestly have very little confidence that Safelite will properly take responsibility or provide compensation for the damage. I trusted this company because it is such a large, well-known franchise, and I expected at least a basic level of professionalism and care with my vehicle. Instead, I have my vehicle with new damage that was not there before service, and Safelite has refused to take responsibility for it today. This situation has been incredibly stressful and frustrating. I’m now dealing with the inconvenience of not being able to properly use my vehicle and potential repair expenses.

  Someone unfortunately broke into my car but Jay was there to replace my glass and got the job done quickly and had great customer service. I hope I never have to use Safelite again but in the event I do, send me Jay again!

  Our technician was amazing. He let us know when he was coming, was polite and professional. He answered all of our questions and service was a breeze. Highly recommend!

  Took 4 appointments to replace my windshield. Original technician installed it incorrectly. I later learned that he should have not attempted to install on my sloped driveway. Then the appointment to reinstall was the rescheduled to the end of the NEXT week, without my knowledge (just email notification in my spam box). With a service window so large (1pm-5pm), I had to take a half day off work and move two appointments. Lo and behold, the tech arrived after 5pm. Without the correct parts. The windshield was resolved a week later, again- took a half day… tech arrived after 5pm. Just picture; nearly three weeks of a Los Angeles commute, with a toddler, and a calibration alarm beeping every other second. The guys themselves were nice, but apathetic. Unless they improve training, service windows, and appointment scheduling- I do not recommend.
