  Avoid at all costs—attempted a massive, unjustified upsell on a routine repair. Paid $190 for a diagnostic here when my water pump failed, and the experience was completely unacceptable. I worked with Gil, who checked me in and delivered the news: he stated the water pump would be $1,400 to replace, but claimed someone had put Stop Leak into the cooling system, causing "extensive damage and corrosion." Because of this, Gil told me I needed a completely new engine, a new heater core, and a new radiator, pushing an astronomical estimate of $10,000 to $15,000. He even refused to back the water pump repair with a warranty due to this alleged catastrophic damage. Panicked and thinking my vehicle was totaled, I consulted attorneys and looked into legal routes, since I recently purchased the truck. Fortunately, I decided to take it to another local shop for a second opinion. The verdict? The second shop confirmed the water pump had failed, but found zero advanced corrosion and no need whatsoever for an engine replacement. They replaced the water pump, flushed the cooling system, and got everything running better than it has in a while—all for a total of $450. ACA Automotive and Gil tried to scare me into a $12,000+ unnecessary overhaul for a standard mechanical issue that was resolved at a fraction of the cost. Shady diagnostic practices and predatory upselling. Take your vehicle anywhere else but here.

  Polite, informative, trustworthy service. Had an issue with my car that I wanted to have inspected. They found nothing wrong and didn’t charge me as there was nothing to fix. Thanks ACA!!

  Love this place ! Came in for a smog check for my wife’s car. The gentleman who was preforming the inspection went above and beyond. Seeing that I had after market converters (Original one were stolen !) the tech crawled under the car and reached what I had online to make sure all was good and help pass my inspection. I really appreciate a shop who goes the extra mile . When others would just say sorry (no pass) Thank you !

  Real shame brought in for service ac due to replaced ac condenser and they claimed evaporator was leaking … (untrue !!!) picked up car and was able to confirm no leaks !!! $3800.00 Estimate found both evaporator and condenser were not leaking nothing wrong with evaporator truly lost all trust in this company and never ever will I send them another repair… the ac charge to this day is still holding pressure with out replacing evaporator… and to think they wanted $4000 to replace something that has nothing wrong with it. Do your Do Diligence!! Can’t trust NO ONE!!!
