  We recently had such a great experience working with Nacho Alvarez-Malo at Honda of Lemon Grove. He made the entire process feel easy, comfortable, and stress-free. He took the time to help us find the right vehicle, answered all of our questions, and worked with us to make sure the monthly payment fit our budget. We ended up driving away with a beautiful 2025 Honda HR-V that we absolutely adore! We are incredibly grateful for his kindness, patience, and honesty throughout the process.   Really weird and shady experience with this dealership so far. I made an appointment to view a car and confirmed the car was on the lot, only to get there and find out the car was actually in transit. The person I scheduled an appointment with wasn’t even there that day. I still ended up purchasing the in transit vehicle, but communication since has been very poor. I no longer receive updates on where my vehicle is, they tell me the location hasn’t been updated in 5 days and that they’ll reach out and get back to me and never do, even after the original ETA has passed. Definitely confirm and ask for actual photos of the car on the lot before you make the trip down to see any cars here, I would not recommend buying a vehicle in transit from this dealer.

  I’d focus on the convenience and communication since that’s what really stood out: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I leased a new 2026 Honda CR-V EX-L on June 19th, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience with CJ (Ceaser). What impressed me most was how much he handled through text before I even stepped foot in the dealership. He was incredibly responsive, answered all of my questions promptly, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Because of all the work CJ did ahead of time, picking up my vehicle was seamless. There were no surprises, no wasted time, and everything was exactly as discussed. From arriving at the dealership to signing paperwork and driving away in my new CR-V, the entire process took less than two hours. CJ was professional, knowledgeable, transparent, and respectful of my time throughout the entire experience. Car buying and leasing can often feel overwhelming, but he made it one of the easiest vehicle transactions I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for someone who communicates well, follows through on what he promises, and makes the process as smooth as possible, I highly recommend working with CJ.   Updating my review after the sale. Overall, I am still happy with my CR-V and the purchase experience. The pricing was fair, the vehicle was exactly what I wanted, and the sales process went smoothly. However, I later discovered that my name was entered incorrectly in multiple records. Despite providing my driver’s license and having my name spelled correctly on my sales contract, my registration paperwork contained multiple spelling errors in my name. This resulted in additional phone calls with Honda Financial and a trip to the DMV on my day off to get the records corrected. Mistakes happen, but accurately entering a customer’s legal name is one of the most basic parts of the paperwork process. The vehicle purchase itself was positive, but dealing with these errors after the sale created an unnecessary inconvenience. I still had a good overall experience and would consider buying from Mossy Honda again, but I hope more attention is given to verifying customer information before paperwork is submitted.

  My husband and I had a great experience at Mossy Honda. We had been shopping around and were pretty set on a Honda CR-V, but hadn't had a great experience at another dealership. From the start, Carlos took excellent care of us and went above and beyond—even driving to Temecula and back to pick up the exact vehicle we wanted. Bryant worked with us to get the numbers where we felt comfortable moving forward, and Derek made the financing and paperwork process smooth and stress-free. We weren't planning on purchasing a vehicle that day, but between the outstanding customer service and the deal they put together, we ended up driving home in the exact CR-V we wanted. The entire team was professional, transparent, and easy to work with. We highly recommend Mossy Honda. They'll take great care of you and you might even have a little fun in the process.
