I was extremely happy with the service I received. A tow truck (AAA) took my car in and a service rep brought my car home. The car was not running when it left, but runs fine now. Thank you Allen Tire Company. I will be a customer for life!

I've had two experiences here with making appointments for service and my car sits for over an hour untouched, and then I'm given an even longer projected time for service to begin. Most recently, during an oil change, a mechanic said I needed a battery. Came home, called AAA, technician came out and checked the battery, it's 86% full.

Super great service, knowledgeable automotive techs, reasonable prices. I will say try to book an appointment during the week day, you will be in and out.

Let me start by saying I felt I was being pressured into purchasing tires. Plus the manager misspelled my last name and he was rude. I am rethinking getting my tires from here. I was in last week because of low tire pressure in my front left tire and the mechanic told me if the tire lost air again that it could be plugged. The cracks the manager pointed out are small and minute that I don't feel they need to be replaced. I feel that your manager is taking advantage of me because I'm a senior citizen and a woman. So I think I will cancel this order and shop around and see if I really need to replace my tires I give your manager a negative zero

TL;DR: Misdiagnosed the issue, provided a $5,000 quote with questionable labor and tire fees, and the price was so high I seriously considered selling my car. Save your money and get a second opinion. Getting an appointment here is a challenge. Every time I called, the answer was basically the same: "Just drop the car off." I specifically went in on a Friday and waited because I already knew something was wrong with the suspension. My tires had worn unevenly, which was a pretty obvious sign. After inspecting the car, they told me some bushings were broken. The problem was that nobody took the time to clearly explain what was wrong or show me the failed components. Instead, I was handed a quote for nearly $5,000. The invoice itself was extremely vague. It listed things like "suspension" parts, new tires, and a "free alignment" if I bought tires from them. To be fair, they did quote a good set of Continental tires, but the pricing was hard to justify. The tires alone were around $1,500, plus $143 for installation and $174 for a tire recovery/recycling charge, which seemed outrageous. Even the dealership charges less for installation and tire disposal. What really bothered me was the apparent misdiagnosis. The quote included lower tie link with ball joint and bushing, while the actual failed component was the rearward control arm. My car has both forward and rear control arms on the front suspension. They wanted almost $600 in labor for the control arm alone, then charged separate labor for shocks and springs, bringing the suspension work to roughly $2,200 in labor. That $5,000 estimate was so high that I actually started looking at selling the car and even got a Carvana offer. Fortunately, my neighbor put the car on jack stands and looked it over with me. He referred me to another shop that replaced all four shocks and both control arms for about $1,700 plus tax. That's roughly $2,000 less than what I was quoted here for the suspension work. Now I just need tires, and I'll be buying them elsewhere at a much more reasonable price. The final irony? The shop called me the next morning to follow up. I told them I had decided to sell the car because the repair bill was too high. Suddenly the manager said they could "work something out." If there was room to dramatically lower the price, why wasn't I given a fair quote in the first place? I even offered to pay for their diagnostic time, but after this experience, I lost confidence in their recommendations. And before anyone tries to dispute this review: I have all the quotes, and receipts to back up everything I've written. Bottom line: Get a second opinion before authorizing any major work here. In my case, the diagnosis and pricing were so far off that I nearly sold the car over it. Fortunately, another shop fixed the suspension for thousands less.
