  I visited Amoto Tire after getting a nail in one of my tires. At first, I was told the tire could not be repaired. After explaining that I had spent 25 years in the automotive industry and had seen many similar repairs successfully completed, they decided to repair it. I was initially quoted $40 for the repair, which I accepted. Since the repaired tire was one of the front tires, I also asked if they could move it to the rear and bring the rear tire to the front. They said, “No problem.” When the work was finished, I was surprised to be charged $80. When I asked why, I was told the additional $40 was for swapping the front and rear tires. In my opinion, charging the same amount for a simple tire rotation as for the actual tire repair was unreasonable, especially since this additional cost was never mentioned beforehand. The technician who worked on my car was professional and helpful, and I even gave him a $5 tip because I appreciated his work. The rest of the staff were also friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the owner or management. Clear and transparent pricing is important, and I left feeling disappointed by the way the charges were handled. Update after the owner’s responde; Thank you for taking the time to respond. There are a few important facts that your response leaves out. When I arrived, there wasn’t even a place to park. I simply spoke with one of your employees because I had a flat tire and wanted to know what I should do. No one told me there was a waiting line, that I had bypassed anyone, or that I needed to check in at the office first. Had that been explained, I would have gladly followed your process. I never objected to paying for a tire rotation. I simply asked whether it could be done while the tire was already off the vehicle. My concern was never the price, but the lack of communication and the dismissive way I was treated. Finally, questioning my professional background instead of addressing the actual experience says more about your response than it does about my review. I also respectfully maintain that a tire rotation performed while one wheel is already removed for a puncture repair should not reasonably be priced the same as a standalone tire rotation that requires removing and reinstalling all four wheels from the beginning. I genuinely wish your business success, but I also believe future customers deserve the full context.

  They are honest, quick and professional. When they can fix your tires, they will, and for a few bucks.

  I work up the street from Amato Tire and called asking if someone could take a look at my drivers side rear during my lunch break because it was slowly leaking air. Rob answered and offered to have someone take a look at the tire "right now"! Rob even offered to give me a ride back to work if I needed to be back. I drove down, and in the next 10 minutes, the cause of the leak was identified and fixed. Thank you Rob and Team for your swiftness and generosity.

  Amato Tire is the kind of place you can truly trust. They are honest, fairly priced, and take the time to make sure you understand your options before making a decision. Ask for Junior, he is great to work with and will make sure you have all the information you need.

  This place is convenient, professional and above all, honest! Junior is a great mechanic. I asked him to review a bunch of price-gouging, unnecessary recommendations from my local Mazda dealership for my CX-9, and he saved me a lot of money and only did work that was warranted. Highly recommended!
