My wife and I asked to see some class A motorhomes. They asked for my drivers license, took a picture of the front and back, and then proceeded to tell me they have nothing to show me. There’s only one reason to take a picture of the back of a person’s drivers license, and that’s to track their information online. I won’t be back here, ever.

I was excited to shop for an RV at Camping World but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The staff came across as rude & I didn’t feel they were honest or transparent throughout the process. Making such a significant purchase should feel exciting & supported. Instead the entire experience was uncomfortable & left me feeling pressured rather than valued as a customer.
I had spent a lot of time researching different RV models before coming in & it was frustrating to realize I knew more about several of the models than the sales staff did. I expected knowledgeable guidance & accurate information, especially for such a major investment.
Customer service & trust are incredibly important when you’re making a purchase of this size & I simply didn’t feel respected or confident in the information I was given. Because of this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope Camping World takes customer service, product knowledge, & transparency more seriously in the future.

Dear Camping World Management
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable service and unresolved vehicle damage caused by the Camping World staff at the La Mirada, CA location.
On October 16, 2025, I picked up a brand new 2026 Thor Sequence from Camping World. During the delivery process, your staff accidentally broke the plastic base cover of the passenger seat. I immediately took photos as evidence (see attached: 'THOR BROKEN CHAIR BASE.jpg' and 'THORN SALES REP.jpg'). The staff acknowledged the damage on the spot and promised to order the replacement part and notify me for a repair appointment as soon as it arrived.
It has now been over eight months, and the issue remains completely unresolved. Here is a timeline of my persistent attempts to follow up:
- October 2025 – January 2026: Made multiple attempts via text messages and phone calls with minimal progress.
- January 2, 2026: I personally visited the office and met with the Sales Manager. He assured me he would personally follow up on this issue.
- February 2026: Upon following up, I was told that the wrong part had been ordered and they had to re-order it.
- April 2026: I followed up again, and the manager asked for my email address, promising to send me the order status updates. No updates were ever sent.
- May 27, 2026 & July 1, 2026: I sent follow-up text messages inquiring about the status, but both messages have been completely ignored.
As a customer who purchased a brand-new motorhome, I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by this severe lack of professionalism, honesty, and communication. Dragging out a simple plastic trim replacement for over eight months and completely ignoring text messages is unacceptable.
I request that Camping World immediately contacts me with a definitive delivery date for the correct part and schedules the repair. I also request Thor Motor Coach to look into this matter regarding their authorized dealer's service quality.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate this complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and corporate executive management.
I prefer to be contacted via text message or email, as it allows me to keep a written record of our communication.
I look forward to your immediate response.
