  Had a fantastic experience this morning. And I needed that after the terrible few days of car problems. A big thank you to Tim and his phenomenal customer service! And Miss Jodi for being very sweet and helpful when Tim was out fixing up my battery problem. I came in this morning and brought Tim my super heavy filthy corrosion ridden battery. He saw i was struggling to hold it and took it from my hands. Then he went through all the steps of checking the battery and printing that report. Then finding me a new battery and explaining all the pros of each. Once I purchased he offered to install it for me. Fantastic customer service and when I offered to tip him he declin3d and said "its a service we offer, that's not necessary!" Wow! Amazing! I mean in a time where just about every credit card system regardless of the business has an option to tip and he declines and says "its part of our service!" Stand up guy! Fantastic! Thank you thank you!

  Bought a battery for my motorcycle here. After a couple of months the battery went dead. I dropped off my battery here for charging. When I came back “manager” Jodie told me the battery came out bad, and the only option was to buy a new one. I explained to her that I had warranty. She started looking for as many excuses to not honor my warranty before even trying. She suggested things like my motorcycle’s alternator might had an issue. When she finally looked into the computer, she told me the warranty have had expired a week before. She was rude, and never offered any solution. She has NO IDEA what costumer service is. I decided to go shop for a new battery somewhere else (interestate). I took the same “bad battery” to swap it for a new one. Luckily the manager there knew what he was doing, looked at my battery date sticker, and told me it was strange it was indicating it was “bad”. He suggested I let him try charging it before buying a new one. A day later I picked the battery up with a voltage of 13 perfectly working. Yes, the same battery Jodie from Auto Zone told me it was BAD. I almost spent another $100 dollars just because of her ignorance, and because she didn’t want to make an exception for a one week expired warranty. Poor management. Worst experience ever.

  Auto zone should pay attention to staff member Jodie. Worst costumer service I’ve experienced. She tries so hard to not honor warranties and doesn’t have any idea about car products/parts. It’s so sad because everyone else here is so helpful.
