  The whole experience (minus getting the chip that turned into a gigantic crack) was outstanding. I just went online, filled out some stuff and the guy came out. Professional and I even got updates with how close he was to his arrival time.

  Safelite came to my house to fill rock damage in my windshield about the size of a quarter. Unfortunately, during the repair, the process or the technician practically cracked the entire windshield. I came back to two footlong+ cracks in the glass that now necessitate a full windshield replacement, costing me $500+. The technician was courteous, on time, remorseful, and getting an appointment was easy. That’s the only reason I’m not giving one star. Highly recommend going with a local shop like Hanson’s Auto Glass instead.

  Great service and communication. Was easy to book online and then have a live person to connect with and confirm appointment with. Gave a reasonable time slot for service and showed up sooner than expected.

  This place is a joke. My window is now worse than ever after they "fixed" it. The rattling is so bad it's dangerous on the freeway. And the worst part? They don't care. I've had my issue escalated by customer care twice, and they can't even bother to return my calls. I have a sick kid and need my car, and this whole situation has been a massive inconvenience. This is the fourth time I've had to schedule something with them, and they still haven't fixed it. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. They're incompetent and completely unprofessional.

  Worst experience I’ve had with any auto glass shop. I went to Safelite Irvine on 3/21/2026 for a windshield replacement. They failed to calibrate the front camera and told me to come back after they ordered OEM glass. I waited until 4/4/2026, came back, and they still could not complete the calibration. Then they told me to go to the dealer. The dealer later found damage in the front camera system and clearly said the pre-scan code Safelite keeps using is not the reason the car cannot be calibrated. But Jerry at the Irvine store was rude, dismissive, and tried to push the whole problem onto me. No real help, no accountability, just “call corporate.” And corporate is nearly impossible to reach. As of 4/21/2026, this issue is still not resolved. This has cost me a huge amount of time, stress, and money. If you care about your car and want basic respect, avoid this location.
