  Got my windshield done on Monday July 6th Super Asome experience very professional didn’t take very long definitely not glad I went to Safelite and the technician was very good. Definitely recommend safe flight for anyone’s windows or windshields of their car.

  Safelite is a great company to replace your windshield. They come to your home, place of business or anywhere else you may be. Dustin was my technician. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and does not mind answering any questions.

  Safelite of Irvine replaced our windshield nearly two months ago, and while the initial install was ok the replacement windshield they used is not. The windshield they used has distortion in the drivers line of sight and has caused issues with other systems that use the windshield. We went back to Safelite and filed a warranty claim, Safelite of Irvine acknowledged the issues mentioned above and said the windshield would be replaced under the lifetime warranty. Two months later, 15+ phone calls, and 3 follow up visits to this Safelite location and nothing has been done. Each time we bring our car in, the answer is “we don’t have the part” or “we’re waiting on the dealer and will give you a call” or “we have the wrong part.” We never had any communication with Safelite, never got any calls from the shop, and not to mention it’s impossible to talk with someone the local shop without going through the 1-800 number. The only communication we ever had from the shop, was when they told us to get our car from their shop before they close in an hour at 5pm. This was after Safelite had the car all day (7 hours) and at the last hour they “discovered” they had the wrong part when they were allegedly going to begin the replacement and recalibration (an hour before they close on a Friday.) This had been a huge waste of our time, since Safelite has also required us to bring our car to their shop, since they say it’s not compatible with their mobile service. While we initially believed and were patient with Safelite, they have since closed our work order claiming the work was done to satisfaction, when they haven’t even gone as far as moving the car into the shop each time we bring it to them. It’s now painfully obvious that the intent was to take advantage of us. Furthermore, they’re still seeking to collect payment for this windshield- the one that is defective and potentially dangerous. It’s impossible to get a response from the shop other than we’ll call you, and the national customer service can’t do much either. Reading the other reviews, my experience doesn’t seem surprising. Other reviews mention Safelite’s lack of customer service, unhelpful customer service, and inability to honor their lifetime warranty. Avoid Safelite of Irvine if you want you glass replaced correctly the first time- you get what you pay for.

  On Wednesday, when I noticed a crack on the windshield of my car, I called my insurance company, Wawanesa, soon to become "W" insurance. They suggested me to get it fixed by Safelite AutoGlass. They were eager to direct my call to Safelite, but I wanted to call them on my own, later. I discussed with my husband and called Safelite myself. They gave me an appointment on Friday. They informed me that they already got the new windscreen to install on my car. So, on Friday, I emptied my car and parked in a spacious place with enough room all around the car, so that the Safelite technician could do his work without any barriers. The technician was a real gentleman by the name, Paul. He was very courteous. He installed a new windshield and did a fantastic high-tech kind of job with recalibration of the camera etc. As a 75 year old, I can remember my previous cars getting cracks on the windshields in the past, and how I had to always find a trustworthy place to get a new windshield installed. This time, by just calling Safelite Auto Glass, it saved all the trouble I had to go through, as they came to my premises to do the work. In addition to that, most importantly, Paul represented the credibility of the Safelite Auto Glass company, and performed the work with high standards, for my 100% satisfaction, advising me to reach the company if any questions come up.   Damian performed a star crack repair on my 26 Ram Promaster camper so well the crack is virtually gone. He did a great job, quick and efficient, explaining every step and cautions to take. This is my fourth time using Safelite over the years and each time the outcome exceeded my expectations.
