  Our service representative arrived on time, was very informative, friendly and efficient. The only negative issue he had was the Calibration part of the replacement. (It caused a minor travel issue for us to go to their nearest office 15 miles away). Even the employees at the location too were all extremely friendly and even finished the calibration way earlier than expected. We Thank You All for your excellent help. R. Rodriguez

  Safelite was incredibly convenient to use, and the pricing was very reasonable. Todd was great! He communicated clearly about his arrival time and even showed up a few minutes early, which I really appreciated. He was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the entire appointment. He explained the process clearly and did a wonderful job repairing the chips in my windshield. The whole experience was easy and professional from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Safelite, and especially Todd. He was fantastic!

  I had a ding in my front window and the Safelite technician came out and fixed it in 25 minutes. He was very nice and explained the procedure, you can’t even see where it was after he finished. I was so surprised and happy with the outcome and cost to repair my windshield. Thank you Safelite!!

  I came to Safelite Irvine on 09/28/2026 for a windshield replacement on my 2025 Honda CR-V. After the replacement was completed, I noticed that the Blind Spot Monitoring system was no longer functioning properly. I returned to Safelite shop at approximately 3:30 PM, and your technician informed me that the issue was not related to the windshield replacement. However, based on the information below, I believe the problem may be associated with the work performed on my vehicle. Please review my response below and advise on how this issue can be resolved. 2025 Honda CRV blind spot monitor not working after windshield replacement The blind spot monitor on a 2025 Honda CR-V typically stops working after a windshield replacement because the multi-view camera mounted behind the glass was disconnected, uncalibrated, or disturbed during the installation, triggering a safety communication fault across the vehicle's electronic modules. Why This Happens • Uncalibrated Front Camera: Replacing the windshield changes how light and images reach the top-mounted camera. If the technician skipped or botched the static/dynamic ADAS camera calibration, the computer can flag a system fault. • Unplugged or Unseated Harnesses: During glass removal or trim reinstallation, the technician may have left a connector loose, pinched a wire harness near the rearview mirror/camera housing, or failed to snap the camera properly back into its bracket. • Cascading Module Errors: A disruption in the primary camera or head unit bus can cause the Blind Spot Information System to lock out or report an error. • Improper Sealing / Water Intrusion: If the new windshield or upper rubber/plastic trim liner was not seated correctly (a known issue where the glass misses the rubber liner), moisture can leak into the upper electronics or body control modules.

  This was the worst customer service experience. 0/10. The only positive I could say is that my windshield is fixed. But the inappropriate charge, and condescending tone and attitude of the service agent was pretty offensive. Being told that their inability to correct their error was due to my request for a receipt and if I hadn’t asked for a receipt… was special, particularly as I wouldn’t have caught the issue with my credit card charge without a receipt. Still haven’t been refunded and have yet to hear from the manager.
