This is not an AI generated review. I’m typing this with two fingers on my keyboard while drinking a Shiner Bock and grinning from ear to ear over my old 2009 Ram truck. I just got it back from Orange County Diesel, and I could not be happier.
This is not a high mileage truck by Cummins standards, around 85,000 miles. However, those miles have been hard earned because it tows a 10,000-pound trailer. We have been to many places. It has gotten stuck in some, and abused in others. This Dodge has been forced to do things I’d rather not confess publicly.
Maintenance has been an issue, and those issues have found a new home at Orange County Diesel.
I highly recommend this shop.
Here’s what OCD did for me last week:
Diagnosed an unbalanced press exhaust issue and fixed it.
Got this thing smoged.
Decarbonize and clean the EGR system.
Installed a Monster-Ram intake from Bank’s
Changed the oil and flushed the coolant.
Conducted a detailed inspection of all the running gear, mounts, and suspension.
Noe, the owner and manager, gave me daily updates.
Hey, I like holding hands when my baby is under the knife… don’t you?
All kidding aside, finding an independent shop I can trust to work on this Dodge is a huge deal. I was beginning to think every qualified mechanic had left the state.
This is not a paid advertisement; I simply want to give credit where it’s due. On that note, I will say that quality work costs money. The old saying, "you get what you pay for," is true. However, I was given a fair price that was quoted upfront with no surprises.
My beer is empty now, so this review is over.
