This is a horrible place to deal with, my last day for rental through insurance was 6/30 and I tried calling the day before to try and get extension even if it meant paying out of pocket. They pick up with out saying please hold, after 17 minutes on hold (clearly you hear them pick up and just put you back down with out saying anything)
Tyler picked up, no consideration or acknowledgement of hold time by apologizing or thanking hold time. I called him out and told him I've been waiting 17 minutes, complete silence and no apology proceeded to ask what I needed.
I explained the situation said he will reach out to Insurance and wait til I hear back from them, no communication end of day.
I called the next day Ben said he would look into it and I should call back around 3 to check status and he should have sedans by then. I called around 2:30ish due to long wait times, yup!! On hold for long time then Edman picked up saying I should call back around 4p and that he would have Ben reach out, no call back.
I called around late 3p, 4ish and was on hold for a long time. Then finally after 20minutes a female picked up, no name, no acknowledgement, stating I would have to call back they have alot of people in the lobby. I said, I wanted to speak to Ben, and I would hold. She then stated, "I can have him call you back" I replied "no thank you" and then responded with "I can't put you on hold" I said I would hold please.
I waited 45 minutes, while I drove from where I was to them and to my surprise there was no one in the lobby. I was dumbfounded I took photos. Aside of person in lobby there were 2 people behind him and 1 in office.
Today I called regarding a text message I received from them about returning vehicle early when I paid for extension and wanted answers. Ben picked up and mentioned he would help but had alot of people in the lobby. He was not clear about my situation and kept reminding me had a lobby full of customers. I said ok, can you call me back and clearly said no because the insurance stopped paying today but can keep it at the same rate but i still had more questions and I told him I would just stop in.
If these people just picked up phones and had phone ethics they would not have a handful of customers in lobby.
I have gone to Oakland (which I love the manager, she is amazing) and San Leandro. Their hold times are not like this and they actually pick up and let you know they are placing you on a quick hold.
Also, while I got my car situated another customer said I understand you because ive tried calling couple times and its like you can hear them pick and put you on hold multiple times.
Honestly, this place makes me really miss Hertz.

Nice customer service. Sometimes they do get busy and often lacking of choices but those are rather minor issues.

My car rental at this enterprise was simply ammaazziinnggg!!! My guy was very kind polite and has the best customer service ever!!! I will definitely go back here again! Plus they are open on Sundays, yaaayyyyaaaahhh!! Luvvvv you guys❣️
Mistakes can happen, what matters is how it's handled. Tyler and Arjun did a great job at turning things around, and they've added four extra stars to my review. I will not go into too much details on why this was almost a one star review, and if you are reading this to decide whether to rent from this branch, I'd say go for it, you'll be sure to leave with great service even if you didn't start off with one. Tyler and Arjun, many thanks for your attentiveness and care, I'll be visiting your branch again the next time I'm in town.

I had a really great experience with Enterprise on Mission Blvd in Hayward. I always assumed places like rental car companies would have bad customer service or people with attitudes, but this experience was the complete opposite.
From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. The branch manager, Taylor, greeted me right away and was super kind and helpful throughout the process. I also spoke with a few other employees, I believe one of them was named Ben, and every single person we interacted with was patient, detailed, and genuinely nice.
One thing that really stood out to me was how clean and organized everything was. Even the inside of the office smelled really good, which might sound random, but to me it reflected how well they take care of the place and their vehicles. Their cars were extremely clean, felt very new, and were well maintained.
What I appreciated most was how easy they made everything, especially for people who do not rent cars often. Whenever I called with questions, they explained everything clearly and made the process feel simple and stress free. Even during busy moments, the entire staff stayed calm, professional, and friendly with smiles on their faces, which honestly says a lot about the environment and customer service there.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend Enterprise on Mission Blvd in Hayward and would personally go back to them again. The kindness, professionalism, and cleanliness truly made the experience stand out.
