  Great rental experience! Ms. Alia took excellent care of me from the first moment I arrived. She was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Even better, Ms. Alia was able to think out of the box in order to ensure my rental experience was first rate. I was treated just as well when I returned the vehicle. I highly recommend the Grover Beach Enterprise location!

  Check-in was hassle-free quick and easy. Rented a truck for a one day trip to LA. Give me a Dodge 1500 Laredo which was a beautiful car super comfortable. It was clean and full of gas. The customer service in Grover Beach is awesome! Have used other companies in a pinch but my best experiences always with Enterprise car rental recommend and use them anytime I can.

  I had a horrible experience renting from this location today. I had a reservation and was refused a car. I have had a valid temporary Canadian Drivers license, valid credit cards in my name, and a valid US passport. I am a us citizen and I have a current California Drivers license as well. Canada asked that I give it to them as I cannot have a second drivers license due to fraud concerns. So I only have a photo of my Cali license. I get that i cannot use a digital copy.... even though I have rented from this location multiple times. I was told that because my Canadian DL did not have a picture it was not Valid. Maybe not for enterprise, but for everyone else it is a Valid form of ID. Especially in conjunction with a passport. Oddly, if I had a temporary DL from California with no photo it would have not been an issue. Not sure why that matters. She said it was about proving I was who I claimed. I was also told I could use a Costco card with my picture, but when I went to produce it. The agent refused to look at it got angry, and told me she would not rent me a car today and I needed to leave. This is as she was waiting on possible approval from her manager. To be clear this felt more about her being on a power trip than anything else. I had not cursed at her, no yelled in any manner. I was trying to remain composed but felt she was giving me the runaround. I had witnessed her doing the same things to others who called in about their reservations. At 2:30 (they close at 5:30) she told some person on the phone that she would NOT rent her a car today. I could tell the customer asked to pick up the car when they opened at 8. She curtly told her again that she would NOT rent them a car at 8. They would have to wait until 9. Then told the customer to feel free to cancel her reservation. It's one thing to say I can't rent you a car because you cannot for valid reason. It absurd to just get on a power trip and tell people that you will NOT rent them a car they have reserved. And to be clear. They had plenty of cars as it was early afternoon, and I was the only one in the place. She could have rented cars had she wanted to. She just seemed to bothered. I will add she appeared to try to call a manager. But whether she gave her manager the complete story is unknown. I checked the enterprise website and it appears I did have the proper documents. Here is the policy pulled directly from enterprise website. In some US and Canadian locations, customers not holding a US/Canadian driver’s license may be asked to provide additional, valid government-issued documentation. Examples of this may include a valid passport. Customers with a driver's license from Mexico may be required to present a valid voter registration card from Mexico. In addition, inbound and outbound travel documentation may be required. Temporary driver's licenses may be refused if the renting location is unable to otherwise verify the customer's identity or verify the authenticity of the temporary license. Additional government-issued identification may be required. I provided a US passport issued by the United States. I have heard the US passport does not carry as much weight as it used to, but I never expected it to be refused inside the US.

  Experiencia muy mala con esta oficina de Enterprise Rent-A-Car. El día anterior llamé para confirmar que habría coches disponibles y me dijeron que sí. Al llegar, no había ninguno. Ninguna explicación clara ni solución real: simplemente me dijeron que fuera a otra oficina, sin intentar ayudar ni gestionar nada. Además, en mi reserva añadí un número de teléfono americano para que pudieran contactarme, pero no llamaron. Cuando lo mencioné, la manager insistió en que solo tenían mi número español y que no podían llamar. Tuve que enseñarle la confirmación donde sí aparecía el número americano, y su respuesta fue un simple “ah, vale” antes de despacharme. La manager fue desagradable y antipática en todo momento, y no mostró ni el más mínimo interés en ofrecer una solución. En una zona con turistas, deberían saber manejar mejor las distintas formas de contacto y este tipo de situaciones. Para colmo, ya había pagado un taxi de ida para recoger el coche y me dejaron literalmente sin alternativa ni forma de volver a casa en ese momento. Falta total de organización y de servicio al cliente. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.

  Do not give this place your business! They fail to hold reservations to multiple customers in line. The wait time was about 40 minutes for 4 customers, only one very slow employee. Multiple people were turned away because they did not have the cars that they had reserved ahead of time because of a lack of planning from the business. Bad business!! Stay away!!
