  Need more lights for nite time charging, like solar or something. 👍 but overall good location and next to Costco.

  Easy to spot from the street. Next to Costco gasoline. Evgo is my favorite brand out of all the ones I have tried so far.

  No shade, prices are way too high, put a $55 hold on my card that took all 3 business days to come off for a $14 charge, no receipt... It's not great, but in a pinch it's not busy and it does charge fast. I wouldn't make this a first choice, but it's okay if you really need it (which I did). The others charging were friendly but I don't know if that's a typical experience for the area.

  Excellent experience at this EVO Charger Station in Bakersfield. We are traveling with a Tesla and honestly this was one of the smoothest and easiest charging stops during our trip so far. Definitely deserves 5 stars from our experience. When we arrived, only one other car was charging, and there was plenty of open space available. The station area felt calm, organized, and not overcrowded at all. There are multiple charging stations here — around 4 main stations with two charging spots each — so it seems like even during busier hours there should still be decent availability. The charging process itself worked perfectly. We plugged in the adapter, everything clicked immediately, connected without any problems, and the Tesla started charging right away. No issues with payment, connection, cables, or errors. Everything worked exactly the way it should. Charging speed was also very impressive. We were getting around 102 kW, which for Tesla drivers is approximately up to 450 miles per hour charging speed. For us, it took roughly only about 30 minutes to get the charge we needed to comfortably continue our trip. That’s honestly very convenient for road travel because you can quickly recharge, relax a little, grab food, and continue driving without wasting too much time. Another huge advantage of this location is everything nearby. Right next to the chargers there is a Chase ATM and banking location, which is useful if someone needs quick banking services or cash during the trip. There is also a Costco gas station, a Chipotle, and the large Costco warehouse itself all within the same area. So while the car is charging, you can easily eat, shop, grab supplies, or simply take a short break from driving. The entire stop felt comfortable, practical, and stress free. We also took photos and wanted to leave a detailed review because when traveling long distances with an EV, it really helps to know which charging stations are reliable and convenient. Overall, this EVO Charger Station left a very positive impression on us. Fast charging, easy access, plenty of stations, nearby food and services, and everything functioning correctly. If you are driving through Bakersfield with a Tesla or another EV, this is definitely a good charging stop to consider.
