  I called there yesterday talked with Kevin about installing a alternator,drive belt tensioner and belt. Told him I have all the parts brand new. He quoted me $278 to install everything. My truck wouldn’t start had it towed there got there before they opened had a friend come to pick me up. Kevin calls me 3 hrs later said he miss quoted me and it would be close to $900 now. I said are you kidding me…said there’s nothing he can do. So I had my friend pick me up went and got a new battery because the one in the truck is no good. We got there and they locked the truck and we couldn’t get into it do to he dead battery so they had to use a wedge in the door and a tool to try to open the door we couldn’t use the key because it was for the ignition not the door key which we didn’t have with us…So all that being said I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last shop around…

  As always, the staff at Mountain View Tire $ Auto Service were outstanding on Saturday, 07/18/2026. I, on just about every occasion, show up at the last minute of the day. The staff is always professional, courteous, and patient. Before taking my keys, they always provide me with a hard copy receipt as well as a verbal explanation of the work they will be doing and, the approximate price for the job, leaving zero room for misunderstandings. The customer service and work quality are A-1 at Mountain View Time & Auto Service.

  They got my car fixed same day and the staff were nice BUT the prices quoted over the phone turned out to not be the real price. They didn’t include taxes which ended up being more than $200 more than quoted. Then I picked up my car and the AC never cooled down (that is what was being fixed), so I had to bring it right back in to the shop. Had to sit at the shop another hour to figure out why the car wouldn’t cool down and test the fix. Frustrating day, but glad my AC is fixed during this heat wave.

  700 for rear brakes and rotors, 204 just for the pads that AutoZone next to them quoted me a price of 40. Not sure why they have a resurfacing discount on the bill. For new rotors. I guess I will have them looked at to see if they are new or not. Very basic old school brake job not complicated or high tech. 700 is just crazy. Live and learn. I have also found out that OEM PARTS where not used , after market parts. FRAUD. I CLEARLY PAID FOR OEM AT ALMOST DOUBLE THE COST.....REALLY. NOW I HAVE TO GO IN AND DEAL WITH THIS... I am happy to hear how eager you are to correct this and STRIVE for fair service. I look forward to seeing OSCAR AND KEVIN and resolving this. I came to store and you guys were not there. I talked to mechanic and auto parts store and they said parts ARE NOT OEM. EVEN THOUGH THE INVOICE SAYS THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!
