  Asked if there was a wiggle on price for oil change and front brakes. Old guys said no and complained about having to figure out what just the oil change would cost. Then said, “Removing the $15 coupon for wasting my time.” after I decided not to proceed with their quote on front breaks. Made other condescending comments about the “cost of driving a hot rod” while I was paying. “Nothing left on your break pads” Younger mechanics were great. Honestly, would have gotten the brakes done at quoted price if the demeanor of the old dude was even slightly less demeaning or disrespectful.

  Above and beyond, highly recommended, they are all professional, was able to help me with my car from the engine noise and transmission problems, and smog check, when I’m getting it ready to register. Will definitely go back with them

  I did research the night before to make sure this place was open on Sunday. I arrived at 957am and pulled up to the Smog sign. Shop was opened at 10 by a woman and asked her if I should stay in the car or go in to the shop as I’ve never been there before. She only aggressively pointed at me and I assumed that meant stay in the car so I waited. When she finally approached my car, she said we don’t have a smog tech today and that they only work Monday through Saturday. I informed her it should be posted in their advertising as I drove 20 minutes to get here, although I told her I knew it wasn’t her fault. However, I later learned she was half owner. There was another woman in line behind me and the employee rudely yelled at that woman that there were no smogs today. There were additional very rude interactions with her. She also treated the woman behind me this way. I do not recommend this shop based on the owner’s rude behavior. It was entirely uncalled for and not how a business should be run. I got my other car smogged by another Speed Dee location last year and had a wonderful experience. It was only this location.

  So happy to have found a good and honest mechanic close by! This is a family owned business which makes it even better. Dave (the owner)is knowledgeable and has been instrumental in diagnosing challenges with my Toyota's radiator. They do all my oil changes and continue to make sure my car is at its best. Pre road trips I always stop in to have them give it a once over to confirm my son and I are safe on the road. Today I stopped in for some advice on where I should take my car to get smogged...He said "hand me your keys , we do it here and I can do it right now". So grateful to have been referred to this place! No need to go anywhere else
