Scandalous business. Reserved a one way rental and was quoted a price. When I went to pick up the rental, I was informed I would be charged a 2nd day because the Enterprise location I’m dropping off at is closed that day. Ridiculous! Tell your customers the truth at time of reservation!
Reply to Enterprise: It’s not a billing a concern. As soon as I realized what was going on, I walked out and staff cancelled my reservation. I don’t do bait and switch.
I’ve rented at this location multiple times. Everybody has always been great. Even when times when they’re overwhelmed.
Great employees..they are there to make things easier for patrons. All seem to enjoy their work..highly recommend.

My experience with Enterprise Rental Car was frustrating and stressful, especially since this rental was provided through an insurance claim for an accident that was not my fault.
From the start, there was a lack of transparency and documentation. I was offered a damage waiver at an additional cost, but its importance was never clearly explained, and I was never provided with a detailed vehicle condition report at pickup. I also was not made aware that I was expected to complete an extensive inspection on my own before leaving — including taking photos from every possible angle, both close up and from afar — which I am only learning now after issues arose. Given that this rental was provided through an insurance claim, I strongly feel the damage waiver should have been included as part of the claim and handled by GEICO as their responsibility and duty.
Over the course of my claim, I was given three different rental vehicles. The first vehicle was much smaller than my own full-size car, requiring me to contact GEICO myself to get approval for a comparable replacement. The second vehicle already had noticeable exterior damage, which made me concerned about being held responsible when returning it. Enterprise stated they were aware of the damage and assured me I did not need to worry, even though I had not purchased the damage waiver.
The third rental vehicle had pre-existing small chips in the windshield, which were never pointed out to me and did not appear significant at the time. Those chips later developed into a large crack, and I am now being charged for a full windshield replacement. Because there was no vehicle condition report and the damage was already present, I feel I am being unfairly held responsible.
Additionally, one of the vehicles I received had an interior that was disgustingly dirty and wet, something I didn’t notice until the next day because it was dark and cold at the time of pickup. And another thing 2 out of 3 vehicles I got were on empty! Not professional at all.
Overall, this experience added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Renting a vehicle through an insurance claim should be straightforward and worry-free. Enterprise needs to improve its inspection process, cleanliness standards, and communication so customers are not left financially responsible for pre-existing issues they did not cause.

Just returned a rental car from Enterprise while my car was being repaired. I cannot THANK all who work at the Enterprise office in Eureka, California, enough! Everybody was so friendly, kind, patient and helpful. THANK YOU to all! Enterprise will be by far my first choice when I need a rental car in the future. THANK YOU for being such a great business to our community.
