The process was a pain. Finance Manager was a jerk once we politely declined the service contact he tried to push on us.
I recently had a disappointing service experience with Elk Grove Chevrolet regarding my 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV.
I had the vehicle towed to the dealership because it would not start. The service department determined that a section of the high-voltage battery had failed. Fortunately, the repair was covered under warranty. The vehicle remained at the dealership for about a week while they waited for the replacement parts to arrive.
After the high-voltage battery repair was completed, I was informed that the low-voltage battery was no longer charging and needed to be replaced. I was quoted approximately $300 for parts and labor, and I approved the repair.
However, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the final bill was significantly higher than expected. I asked the front desk representative why the total did not match the quoted amount. I was repeatedly told that the difference was due to taxes, even though the invoice itself listed the tax amount as only $27.13. I questioned how a quoted $300 repair could total $419.08 with only $27.13 in tax, but I did not receive a clear explanation. After several minutes of confusion and no meaningful clarification, I paid the bill and left.
Afterward, I researched the battery pricing myself and found the same battery available at Costco for approximately $185. I also contacted Future Chevrolet, where I was quoted $232 for the battery and $50 for labor. Based on these comparisons and the lack of transparency during my visit, I no longer feel confident bringing my Chevrolet Bolt EV back to Elk Grove Chevrolet for future service.
Bought a van completely remote from San Diego. I was pretty pleased with the experience and aside from a misunderstanding, all was smooth. They also delivered the van for me which was pretty damn cool. I'm not a fan of car dealerships but this one is definitely top of the heap
Other than the service rep telling me that my warning lights came on and I can have my car diagnosed for almost $300, it well. She didn’t turn the car on for those lights to disappear.

"I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Elk Grove Chevy! If you want a team that actually cares about you and your family, this is the place to go.
I worked with Clint Myers, and he was absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond to make sure I didn't just leave with a car, but with the right car for us—a 2024 Kia Soul that my family and I are already in love with. The level of follow-up is unmatched; Clint even reached out today to wish me a Happy Birthday! That kind of personal touch is rare and so appreciated.
A huge shout-out to Gustavo, the Sales Manager, for his leadership and for making the numbers work, and to Kim in Finance for making the paperwork a breeze. The energy in that building is amazing, and they truly made the entire process feel special.
They worked tirelessly to get me into this vehicle, and the whole experience was seamless and positive. Thank you, Clint, Gustavo, and Kim, for your hard work and for such a memorable experience. If you’re looking for a new ride, go see these professionals!
