  First I'd like to say a Thank You to everyone at West Automotive El Cajon for taking care of my car. My boyfriend was referred to your business by a friend for his vehicles and he was more than extremely satisfied. I had read your reviews and was also impressed. I asked him to take my car and have it serviced. I dont drive much but I bought it in 2015 and it was more than time to do anything the car needed done. Based on how good my boyfriend's experience was, the many reviews, and my own "fix it" list, I totally had faith in the repairs you indicated needed to be done. My car is running like new and most of all you have taken off the weight of worry I had every time I drove my car. Taking the worry of being stranded with grandkids is something I did not want to experience. So, again THANK YOU for the respect, honesty, & work ethic you give to your customers!!! And, I thank you also for the freedom from anxiety it gives me.

  This is my third different vehicle, I’ve taken to West El Cajon, automotive. Best brake jobs na in town. Each time, everybody was awesome, polite, professional, with no pressure but realistic recommendations. Today i was concerned about some break issues on my 2016 Tundra, while the brake pads and components were fine they did find a few items that should be replaced soon due to wear and tear. They gave me pictures and an honest and realistic expectation, if and when they should be replaced, or fixed. I will be coming back many times. Thanks to Jarrell and the awesome mechanics today!

  Other mechanics couldn't properly diagnose my older cars issues. West got the problem correctly diagnosed and repaired.

  I had a 2015 sedan with serious, but intermittent electrical problems. Couldn't drive it safely. Braking system, ABS, power steering, electronic distributed breaking, and speedometer were all taking turns giving me grief. I Took it two shops before I took it to West. Each shop did a diagnostic, and told me they couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong, and they couldn't work on it. West El Cajon took my car next day, had a tech start on it within a few hours, and had it fixed within three business days. The ABS computer had gone bad. They found a competitively priced replacement part which was way under what the dealership was asking (I was checking prices, too). No more problems. I thought the cost of the repair was more than fair. The turnaround time was fast, all things considered. I also appreciated how they give a detailed printout of the diagnostic results. I'd recommend them.
