  Well at first the experience was terrible. Setting up was no problem but when we went to pick the Vehicle up, the details all changed from pay to drop off times. The gentleman at the Enterprise was the saving grace though. He was very understanding and apologetic.

  I had a really disappointing experience attempting to rent a car through the Davis Enterprise office. I reserved a standard sized SUV, and received a call approximately an hour before my pickup time that the car that was returned had a check engine light and couldn’t be sent back out. I was told the only cars they had in stock were sedans, smaller than the size I had reserved, which wouldn’t work for my needs. The afternoon unfolded into a disappointing series of events where we were told completely contradictory things by multiple different Enterprise employees. We ultimately ended up at SMF to try to rent a car from that location because of the wide variety of cars they had, but were told they had no obligation to honor the price we had reserved online and the price we would’ve had to pay was nearly double the price of our existing reservation. The check engine light issue can’t be helped, but I felt very frustrated to be told contradictory things from different employees, including that the location was supposed to receive multiple returns of our reserved car size overnight only to be told this morning they had nothing returned and could not help us. There was no sense of urgency from anyone we interacted with throughout this process to make things right or accommodate us. I was also supposed to receive a call from the regional manager to discuss options and that call never came. Apparently, making a reservation is akin to wishing on a shooting star or throwing a penny in a well. If they have something they have something and if they don’t you are simply SOL with no meaningful effort to resolve the problem.

  Nice to have a car rental place close to home when a nice or bigger car needed. Staff are always helpful and provide great service. Returns have always been quick and easy.
