  Seamless service from start to finish! Rafael made my windshield repair experience easy and efficient. He communicated clearly, arrived promptly, and was very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything about the repair. I was especially impressed with the next-day, early-morning service.   Smooth process from start to finish. Scheduling the work online with upfront pricing options through picking up the car after the work was performed, it all went without a hiccup and the technician and staff were helpful and friendly.

  Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for a windshield replacement that cost roughly $2,500…out of my own pocket and not insurance. I was originally scheduled at the Pasadena location, but at the last minute my appointment was moved to Covina, which added about 45 minutes of travel each way. I was also told they would need the vehicle for the entire day, which I understood given the size and complexity of the Tesla Model X windshield. The bigger issue is that the job does not appear to have been completed properly. After picking up the vehicle, Autopilot is now consistently veering toward the left lane when engaged, which strongly suggests the camera calibration was not completed correctly. The rearview mirror/front camera assembly also does not appear to sit flush against the windshield, and there are visible scuffs on both sides of the housing that were not there before the service. What made the experience even more frustrating was how the vehicle was handed back to me. At the end of the day, they handed me my keys, waited maybe 30 seconds to see if I had any questions, and then locked the doors behind me because the location was closing. Once I had a chance to look more closely at the work and realized there were problems, I knocked on the doors and no one answered. I then tried calling Safelite customer service and discovered that the phone system is almost entirely automated, with no practical way to reach a human being to explain what had happened. For a $2,500 repair, I expected the vehicle to be returned fully assembled, properly calibrated, and without cosmetic damage. I also expected at least a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work and speak with someone before being effectively locked out of the location. Now I have to spend additional time scheduling another appointment, driving back, and having work corrected that should have been completed before the vehicle was released to me. I’m giving one star based on the experience so far. I hope Safelite takes responsibility, properly fixes the installation and calibration, addresses the cosmetic damage, and does something meaningful to make up for the additional time and inconvenience this has caused. I would not recommend them.
