  I am working with Mike, super knowledgeable, fair and a great communicator. I’ve worked with NEWPORT Autosound many times and have never been disappointed.

  The installation started on June 5th 2026. I was called and told it was ready the next day. I went to pick it up and the screen was not only severely off center but also crooked. I was told that the dash kits for these older cars just don't fit right anymore. They also had not installed the aux cable and the USB cable. So after developing a laundry list of issues I dropped it off again to them on June 8th. They worked on it that day and the next day and I picked it up on June 9th. The screen was a little bit straighter but still off center. And they had not connected the aux cable and the USB cable. Now he has to order a part for that. I finally got word that the part was in on June 29th and I took it in on July 1st to be installed. This time I didn't deal with Mike, I dealt with Ryan. Ryan was awesome. He had a great installer as well, and it was done that day. When I went back to pick it up on July 1st, everything looked great and everything was installed. I wish I had dealt with Ryan from the start. I also wish I could give Ryan a separate review than Mike who had first started the job. Even as efficient as Ryan was, I will never take one of my cars to this facility again. There are many many other reputable auto stereo installers in the Orange County area. Don't let their 4.7 rating fool you. It was a month-long headache and Ryan had to pick up the pieces which he did admirably.

The team at Newport Sound—especially Andy and Joe—absolutely delivered when it came to installing the IGLA system in my Ford Raptor. From start to finish, they were attentive, knowledgeable, and committed to making sure everything was done right. Andy ensured the installation was seamless, and Joe took the time to walk me through the new system in detail, making sure I fully understood how to use it and felt confident in its features.   I chose this place because they had the best reviews in Orange County - and they absolutely lived up to it. The team did an amazing job installing my dash cam. The whole process was much quicker than I expected, the price was very reasonable, and they were incredibly kind and helpful throughout. Everything looks clean, professional, and works perfectly. 10/10 recommend!
