Experience poor for the second time. Arrived at scheduled time, service drive was not being cleared by the service porters sitting on their phones. Wasn’t till I complained to an advisor that they started clearing it of vehicles that have been long checked In. Sat In service drive for 45mins waiting for an advisor to come get me. Original advisor wasn’t there and we were told were reassigned to Vanessa Santiago. My wife asked how much longer can we be expected to wait after the 45mins already, Vanessa very rudely replied “ I wasn’t your original advisor, I’ll get to you when I get to you”. She had no customers at her counter and was just typing away on a computer. The lack of professionalism was unacceptable from Vanessa and the lack of professionalism and job performance of the porters was unacceptable that day as well. 29AUG26

I had an amazing experience working with Najib at Toyota! From the very beginning, he was helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on making sure I found the right truck and felt comfortable with the entire process.
Thanks to his guidance and hard work, we were able to make the deal happen, and I’m now the proud owner of a 2026 Toyota Tundra! I truly appreciate how Najib took the time to answer my questions, explain everything clearly, and help make the whole buying experience smooth and exciting instead of stressful.
I’m extremely thankful for all of his help and for the entire staff as well. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and worked together to make this such a great experience.
Buying my Tundra was a big accomplishment for me, and I’m so happy Najib was the person who helped make it happen. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great salesperson who truly cares about his customers. And he speaks both Spanish and english, and thats always a plus.
Five stars for Najib and the entire Toyota team! Thank you again for helping me drive away in my dream truck! 🙌🏼🚙⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I showed up for my scheduled maintenance appointment and waited in my car for 21 minutes before going inside to find someone to check me in. When I went inside, I saw a maintenance associate on his phone. I asked if he could tell me who I needed to check in with for my appointment, and he simply told me to wait outside and that someone would come out to me.
I eventually found the correct person myself. They did apologize, but only after I pointed out that I had already been waiting for almost half an hour.
Unfortunately, the lack of communication and the overall customer service left a really bad taste in my mouth. What was even more frustrating was the attitude I received from the service representatives when I asked basic questions about the process, when I should return, and who I needed to check in with. These are completely reasonable questions for a customer to ask, yet I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them by asking.
The entire experience was unnecessarily frustrating and disappointing. Good customer service and clear communication should be the bare minimum, especially when someone has taken the time to schedule an appointment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Toyota of Chula Vista’s service department.

This location’s service department needs to be investigated and held accountable for the consistently poor quality of service being provided. A review of recent customer experiences shows repeated complaints involving inadequate oil changes, improper repairs, poor communication, excessive delays, and, in some cases, alleged damage to customers’ vehicles.
These do not appear to be isolated complaints. Multiple customers are describing similar failures, including one reporting an oil filter that was allegedly never replaced and another reporting serious vehicle damage following repairs. At some point, this stops looking like an occasional mistake and starts looking like a serious quality-control and leadership problem.
Management should be addressing these recurring complaints rather than allowing the same issues to continue. When customers trust a dealership to properly maintain and repair their vehicles, careless workmanship can become a genuine safety issue not merely an inconvenience.
Toyota Chula Vista should take these complaints seriously, investigate its service practices, and hold the appropriate people accountable before inadequate workmanship results in someone being seriously injured.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Toyota during my recent experience. The lack of communication throughout the entire process was frustrating and unacceptable.
My insurance company, Enterprise, and I were all repeatedly trying to reach the service advisor, Kevin, regarding my vehicle. Despite multiple attempts, he did not answer our calls or return our messages. What was even more frustrating was being told by Kevin that he had “0 messages” from us, despite all of us making multiple attempts to contact him. This was extremely disappointing and made the entire situation even more stressful.
I often had to chase the dealership just to get basic updates about my own vehicle. There was a serious lack of communication and transparency, and I was given information that was inconsistent and, at times, simply did not match what was actually happening.
After everything I went through, I finally got my vehicle back—and it wasn’t even washed on the outside. After having my car at the dealership for repairs almost a month, I expected at the very least that it would be returned clean and in presentable condition.
The entire experience left me feeling ignored and extremely frustrated. Customers should not have to repeatedly call the dealership, their insurance company, and other parties involved just to get someone to communicate with them.
I expected much better from Toyota. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and overall handling of my situation have left a very bad impression. I would seriously reconsider returning to this dealership in the future.
