This is the way to run a business! I took my car in for tires, oil and alignment. I ordered all online before I took the car in. When I picked it up, they advised that an alignment wasn't needed, showed me the spec's on where my car was with the current one and took it off my bill. I would have never have known it wasn't needed. This is the way to run a trustworthy and reputable company. Nice to see these days. Will always take my cars there.

Got fixed what needed to be fixed.
Amazing! Our old van had a shaky cabin and Gary’s Automotive turned me away without looking at it first, and had me go to Les Schwab because he said 90% of the time that is because of the tires. Les Schwab on Notre Dame didn't find any major problems except the tires being slightly out of balance. They swiftly balanced only my front tires and I was out of there in 10 minutes under. They kindly did not charge for the service and just sent me home. I noticed the van felt slightly less shaky, but it also felt about the same when I went home that day. Oddly enough, it’s been some time now, and the cabin does feel less shaky— or not shaky all the time now. Three other family members of mine have driven the van when I reported the shakiness, so perhaps I still need them all to test drive it all too. I, myself, think the kind free balancing tire service that they offered that day truly helped for now.

I feel like I got punked into a sale.
On 8/25, I brought in a single tire that had a 3+ inch side wall bubble on behalf of my brother. I didn't get the backstory as to what happened, but I knew he had warranty and wanted to see if Les Schwab was willing to cover it or see if it needed replacement.
I rolled the single wheel in and chat with the lady up front. She informed me that they would have to look at it first and see how bad the damage was, and that depending on what they saw, it may be under warranty or even partially under warranty. I understood that. I was also told the tire I had warranty for was no longer available, so an updated version may be available instead. I understood that. I was asked if I would stay in the store or just take a call back and I left information for them to call me whenever they figured out what the plan was.
About an hour later, which was very fast, I get a call from Les Schwab. The gentleman over the phone simply said that my "tire was ready to be picked up." I was thrown off by the fact it was done, since I didn't get ANY information as to what the damage was, what tire options did I have, should I purchase a pair to have even tread wear, if there were used options available, if the warranty would cover it or not, or if I even wanted to have them fully replace the tire or not. I asked if they had replaced the tire, and they said yes. Since they did not even give me a price, I had to ask the gentleman "is there a cost?" The answer was yes, and the amount was about $150.
I wasn't going to purchase a tire at all if the warranty was not going to cover the cost of the tire, yet they chose to not only ask me what I wanted to do or IF I even wanted to replace it, but rather decided on my own behalf what tire to use, to replace it, balance it, and the full service without my decision. Ouch.
When I came into the store, I let them know I was picking up the single wheel, and I let them know that I had no idea what happened as far as the job since they didn't ask me and instead I had to. She said she had requested they contact me about the warranty, which they didn't. A gentleman came up, and now explained the fact that there was curbside damage to the sidewall, and that it wasn't going to be covered under warranty at all since its "avoidable" damage. I understand that, however I would not have had the job done if I had known the cost let alone had the opportunity to make a decision about what to do.
I paid the cost, and left feeling like I didn't really have a choice.

It pains me to leave a negative review for any Les Schwab. My family has been receiving service from Les Schwab on our vehicles for three decades. I have been going there consistently for two decades.
The staff is very nice. The ladies at the customer service desk are nice and the boys and men working on the vehicles are such sweet young men. However, they are quite sloppy and are not great with time management.
I arrived at 9:45 am and I was told there would be an hour to an hour and a half wait. I didn't have an appointment, so that seemed reasonable. I ended up being there until 2:30 pm.
I finally received my vehicle back, after waiting patiently for four long, grueling hours in uncomfortable chairs and having to endure constant loud ear piercing noises from some man using a machine inside. Everyone waiting around me was upset by the loud commercial fire alarm -like noise. I've had service at maybe eight Les Schwab's and never had to hear the loud noises or wait for several hours or have my vehicle returned a mess.
I got my car back and immediately noticed my steering wheel was covered and I mean covered in the same black grease those young men have all over their white shirts. The women working at the customer service counter were in navy polo shirts and the young men working on cars are in white button ups. Absurd. It took thirty minutes to scrub my steering wheel, door handle and ignition area of all the grease the young man got all over my car. I told everyone there to please not lose any of my valve stem caps. Of course, my car was now missing one. My wheels now have black hand prints all over them and there is a new scratch on my car where a tire was worked on. There is zero doubt the young man working on my vehicle caused it.
Again, they are sweet young men, but be careful with people's automobiles and take accountability when you mess up; taking accountability is all part of growing up.
