They will rent you a compact suv and charge you for a large suv, and tell you that the SUV you have isn't really compact even though it is LISTED as a compact. They over charge and rarely have what you actually reserved. They will also have you come at a certain time, tell you they have the car ready and then send you home without one because the one they did have, they gave to someone else

This location is consistently disorganized. I've had similar issues here on multiple occasions, but this last experience was enough to leave a review. I made a reservation, completed the online check-in ahead of time (after being bombarded with text reminders to do so), and even arrived 30 minutes after my scheduled pickup time to give the staff a buffer. Despite all of that, I still sat waiting for 45 minutes with no updates. When I finally went to the front desk, the employee said, "Oh, we should've gotten you out of here by now." Then it got even better. They took me to the back lot and told me I could choose between two vehicles, assuring me that both were ready to go. I picked one, only to find out it wasn't ready at all. The car still needed to go through the wash before it could be rented. So my 45-minute wait turned into a full hour after my scheduled pickup time. What's the point of making a reservation, checking in online, and showing up when instructed if the vehicle isn't actually ready? Poor communication, poor organization, and a complete disregard for customers' time. I'll be looking elsewhere next time.

I had a very frustrating experience with Enterprise involving two rental cars of the exact same type. While driving the first car, I began hearing a noise and realized that part of the underside of the vehicle was starting to come down. I immediately called Enterprise and explained what was happening. I specifically asked whether I needed a tow truck, and I was assured that I did not and was told to drive the car back. By the time I arrived, the material underneath the car had ripped significantly more while I was driving it back as instructed. Enterprise gave me another rental—the exact same type of car—and unbelievably, the same thing happened again. This time, however, Enterprise had the vehicle towed, so there was minimal additional damage. About a month later, I received a bill for the extended damage underneath the first vehicle—the same vehicle I had called about and was instructed to continue driving rather than have towed. What makes the experience even more upsetting is that I was on my way to take my daughter to an out-of-town doctor’s appointment when all of this happened. After dealing with the rental-car problem, I ended up having to pay about $100 for an Uber just to get us back to Chico. I understand that rental companies need to hold customers responsible for damage they cause. What I find incredibly frustrating is being charged for damage that became substantially worse after I reported the problem and followed Enterprise’s instructions to drive the vehicle back. The fact that the same problem happened with the replacement vehicle, but Enterprise chose to tow that one, makes the situation especially difficult to understand.
