Have had good and bad experiences here. Today, I came with a reservation, then found out they called the wrong number somehow to tell me they didn’t have my reservation, then they didn’t have a car available for me, so I asked did they have one at a different location, they said yes but since I didn’t have a ride I asked could they give me one. They said they didn’t have a driver so couldn’t give me a ride to the closest enterprise and couldn’t give me a ride home. Really poor customer service

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have had. After receiving a street sweeping citation in one of Enterprise’s rental vehicles, I called the office before making any payment because I wanted to ensure I followed the proper procedure. I was clearly instructed by an Enterprise employee not to pay the citation and to wait because Enterprise handles all citations. I relied on that advice. Approximately one month later, I received an email informing me that I owed not only the citation but also an additional $25 administrative processing fee. Had I ignored Enterprise’s instructions and paid the citation immediately, as I originally intended, I would have avoided this unnecessary charge altogether. The additional fee exists for one reason only. I followed the instructions provided by Enterprise’s own employees. When I contacted the office to explain what had happened, the response was equally unacceptable. No one seemed to understand their own procedures, no one could identify the department responsible, and I was repeatedly transferred from one person to another without anyone taking ownership of the issue. The level of disorganization and lack of training was astonishing. It is fundamentally unreasonable for a business to provide inaccurate instructions, cause a customer to incur avoidable costs, and then refuse to accept responsibility for the consequences. A company cannot instruct customers to follow a specific process and then financially penalize them for doing exactly that. This was not simply a $25 fee. It was a failure of basic competence, accountability, and customer service. The fact that multiple employees were unable to explain their own policies or direct me to someone capable of resolving the issue speaks volumes about the level of training and management at this location. Enterprise’s reputation is built on customer service. Unfortunately, my experience reflected the exact opposite. I expected professionalism and accountability. Instead, I received misinformation, wasted my time navigating an internal bureaucracy, and was charged additional money because I trusted the advice of Enterprise’s own staff. I strongly encourage management to invest in proper employee training and to take responsibility when their staff provides incorrect information that directly results in unnecessary charges to customers. Until then, I would advise others to verify everything independently because relying on the guidance provided by this office may end up costing you money.

I was told a pickup truck was available. Before arriving, I called again and was told they had a “large SUV” instead. After getting there, the “large SUV” turned out to be a Kia Sportage or Mitsubishi Outlander. I use a pickup for work, and neither vehicle can fit my equipment. Completely wasted trip due to inaccurate information.
