  The pumps tolerance to shut off thinking it's full is way way too sensitive. I couldnt tell if my tank was full and I'm not going to overfill like last time at a separate pump. Looking around I saw two other people experiencing the same issue. When mentioned to the clerks they just gave snooty answers that some are like that. This is the only gas station I have this problem at.

  I have tried to reach the manager of Vons five times. No luck, at one point my call was sent to the gas station instead of the manager of the store. This store has many ways of over charging their customers. Placing items not on sale close to items that are on special is one of their tricks. I just bought a cantaloupe and water melon advertised as two for $5. Great price right? Big problem the water melon placed right next to the cantaloupe is not the one on sale. As a result I was charged almost nine dollars for a small watermelon, which should have cost $2.50. The cashier refunded my money after I found the mistake. Beware of shrimp on sale. They make it real hard to find the shrimp on sale and many customers end up paying full price. When it says two bags of chips for $5 they will charge you way more than the normal price if you only by one. I use digital coupons and am very careful when I shop. I shop with my older friend and she is constantly getting ripped off by Vons tricky pricing. I am complaining here because I can't reach the manager of the store. Please use their digital coupons and watch all of the so called "sales".

  This location is suffering from a total collapse of professional decorum. On May 1st, I watched the cashier spend several minutes laughing and socializing about cars with his friends while I, the only customer in line, waited. The moment his friends left, his demeanor shifted from social to openly hostile. When I asked a routine service question, he responded with immediate, unprovoked verbal aggression, shouting at me from point-blank range. To ensure he couldn't be held accountable for his outburst, he chose to operate without a nametag or uniform and then failed to provide a transaction receipt. This wasn't a "bad day", as evidenced by his jovial conversation just moments prior; it was a deliberate display of volatility from an employee hiding behind anonymity. If you aren't on his personal guest list, expect to be treated like a nuisance at best, and a target for his personal issues at worst. This individual is a complete embarrassment to the brand.
