  This is my go to spot in Camarillo for my oil changes and other vehicle needs. I have been coming here forever and the people working here are professionals and they really care about their customers. Ruben, the manager is a really cool guy and he will work with you to get your vehicle in the best shape possible. Thank you!

  Camarillo Valvoline: Service you can't see. Experts you should NEVER trust. I have add two separate incidents at this Valvoline that will ensure I will never come back. The first occurred in January of this year when I went in for service and (against my better judgment) opted for a tire rotation. We left the shop thinking everything was fine and got a call from the tech saying that the tires have not been fully torqued and they could potentially fall off. They said they would come and find us, so they proceeded to drive to our location. Luckily we hadn't driven far and we were attending a wedding reception nearby but we had to deal with this in the midst of that. This is a egregious safety violation and could have resulted in our harm. The service technicians were very apologetic and nice however it is still highly unacceptable and dangerous. Valvoline gave us a free oil change, in exchange for our near-death experience. The second occurred today when having gone into this Camarillo location. Several things: -They didn't check my lights yet I saw on their checklist that they marked they were good . -They didn't check my tire pressure at the beginning of the service so I had to ask. -I wasn't shown my air filter. I had to ask them about it at which they said my air filter was "underneath my vehicle". This is blatantly false, and a straight up LIE. I removed the air filter myself after the service and this is the result. -I asked for a printed receipt, they never provided. THIS WILL BE THE VERY LAST TIME I EVER TAKE MY VEHICLE HERE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. HORRIBLE. They couldn't care less and just want to get you out as quickly as possible.

  had a great experience today at valvoline. Jared (store manager) helped me out and was really great. to the point, didnt feel overly pushy to get me to pay for additional services. i appreciate all the help and will definitely return:) pro tip- they do have a groupon!

  DO NOT COME HERE. I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this Valvoline location. After a service visit, my skid plate ended up falling off because it wasn’t attached correctly. While they initially said they would replace it, the process took nearly two months and required constant follow-up on my end. Communication was extremely poor. I had to call repeatedly just to get updates, and each time I was given different information. At one point, I was told I would receive a call about a delay, but no one followed up. When I called weeks later, I was told the part had been delivered to the wrong location. Even when the skid plate finally arrived, the situation didn’t improve. I was told I could come in early, but when I got there, they didn’t have the necessary screws. The manager said he would get them by 1 PM, but that didn’t happen. I called again later that day and was told it would be handled by the end of the day—again, it wasn’t. The next day, I was told they were getting them, but by that point, I had completely lost confidence. The manager was unprofessional, seemed like he didn’t care, and did not take ownership of the situation or make any real effort to resolve it efficiently. I also felt uncomfortable with how I was treated. As a woman, it seemed like my concerns were not taken as seriously. When my boyfriend called on my behalf, there suddenly seemed to be more urgency and responsiveness, which was frustrating and disappointing. Overall, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this location.

  These guys were great. From the moment I pulled in, the team was professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell right away they take pride in what they do. Everyone worked together seamlessly, communicated clearly, and made the whole process quick and stress-free. What really stood out was their attention to detail and honesty no pressure, just straightforward recommendations and solid service. They checked everything thoroughly and kept me informed the entire time. It’s not easy to find a place that combines speed, professionalism, and great customer service, but this team absolutely delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to others.
