This is the second time I've used Satellite. The technician was professional, on time, efficient, and very nice.

This was my first time ever having my windshield replaced through Safelite. The recent work was for my 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited with a crack in the middle of the windshield and a chip along the lower right corner by the wiper heating element. I received my quote for OEM Toyota glass through Safelite's website and was easily able to schedule service here at this Camarillo location because I knew calibration would be required on my ADAS (Toyota Safety Sense). It was also great that their website has a built-in insurance claim tool, in my case with AAA Glass Claims (ACE) that brought down an otherwise ~$1400 out-of-pocket expense to just a $500 deductible. The text message notifications for my appointment confirmation and reminders were helpful too. When I arrived for my appointment, I pressed the bell on the front desk and was quickly greeted/assisted by a staff member. She promptly went over my appointment details, took care of my payment, and answered a few of my questions. She gave me the option of drop off/come back later or waiting around with an estimated time of 2-1/2 to 3 hours. The estimate was pretty on point; I dropped of my vehicle at 9:00 AM and around 11:45 AM, I received a call from the technician Jesus letting me know that he was wrapping up with my vehicle and it would be ready in about 15 minutes later. Great communication right there. Soon thereafter, I received the Safelite text messages and email notifications that the windshield replacement was complete along with the calibration. Upon arriving back at the shop 30 minutes later, Jesus handed me back my key fob, informed me about avoiding pressure washing for 24 hours and providing Safelite warranty details on the service, then I was on my way. I'm very satisfied with the work Jesus performed on my vehicle. The new OEM windshield was an exact match to my original one (with wiper heating element, rain sensor, and ADAS features). The molding was perfectly installed with both the driver and passenger sides of the windshield being evenly set, and also came with new cowl seals. On my drive back home, there were no detectable air gap noises in the cabin from what I could tell, so the urethane seal on the windshield seems perfect to me.

Rock hit my window and left a star. Free coverage with insurance and went with safelite. Tech came to my house within the set time and did the repair. After it was done I inspected and found multiple instances of glass like residue/resin in places nit bear the original star as well as minor nicks in the glass that wasnt there before. Tech said that they were to small for him to do anything about and I had to just think of them as scratches in paint. Not happy
