But my most recent experience wasn’t great. I rented an Audi Q3 and got stranded in a parking lot (luckily not late at night). The car would not start. contacted Alamo and they directed me to roadside assistance. I was told I would be charged $75 to send someone out to assist with the car. It’s ridiculous. When you rent a vehicle from a company, the vehicle should be mechanically sound. Why do I need to bear the burden of cost for a vehicle I am renting for a few days? Hoping more people become aware of their policy around faulty vehicles and getting stranded.

I wish I'd known about the driver assist features on the car. I expected cruise control but it wasn't an option. The car seemed to have it's own ideas on how to drive. I hate it. It sped up on it's own and I got a speeding ticket! I don't want a fully automated weapon. I want to be in control. The dashboard display is distracting.
