  Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here, everyone was friendly and efficient, and the car was new. It had CarPlay and was great to drive.

  Defective cars. Second time I reserved a rental with this agency ( Shattuck. Berkeley CA.) and got a car with mechanical/electrical issues. This last one I was driving on the freeway and out of nowhere the car began sputtering and going left and right. The steering wheel got away from me for a minute. I took the car back and explained the situation and told them I wanted to file a complaint. The manager on site Elena Scott then told me I wouldn’t be able to switch out because I was filing a complaint and got terribly rude afterwards. I told her I was on my lunch break and needed to get back to work. She offered me a ride but after waiting 15-20 minutes I ordered myself a Lyft. Made it to work late, but I got there safely. Bad cars and worse service. I’m giving them 1 star because I have to in order to have this posted. Otherwise they would have gotten a negative -5

  My pickup was seamless which I appreciate but trying to get someone on the phone is impossible. Just today I have called 5 times and only once did someone answer who took down my number and said they’d call me back once they were done assisting people inside the store. I have one simple question of can I drop the vehicle off at a different location. Yet no one can answer the phone. Please see attached photos of attempted calls 3 of which someone answered and immediately hung up on me, didn’t even say a word. Please note that the 8 minute phone call was me on hold the entire time.

  I wanted to take a moment to recognize Marie. I originally came to Enterprise because my insurance company partnered with them, but I stayed because of the exceptional customer service Marie provided from beginning to end. From my very first visit, Marie stood out. The office was busy, and it often seemed like she was handling multiple responsibilities at once, yet she never made anyone feel overlooked. In a time when many businesses don’t even acknowledge customers when they walk in, Marie always greeted people, let them know she would be with them shortly, and made everyone feel seen and valued. What impressed me most was that when it was your turn, you had her full attention. She never rushed through the process, even when there were people waiting. She took the time to answer questions, explain details, and make sure customers understood everything. That level of patience and professionalism is rare. My rental ended up being extended several times, and throughout the entire process Marie was proactive, thorough, and communicative. She kept me informed, followed up when needed, and handled every interaction with the same positive attitude she showed on day one. There was even a miscommunication regarding the return location of the vehicle. Instead of frustration or blame, Marie simply called, explained the situation, reassured us that everything would be handled, and worked to resolve the issue. She then reviewed my final charges and genuinely asked about my experience. Whether Marie is the manager or not, she demonstrates the kind of leadership, professionalism, and customer service that businesses should strive for. If she isn’t already in a leadership role, she certainly deserves one. Thank you, Marie, for making what could have been a stressful situation easy and pleasant. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.I think this version highlights exactly what made her stand out: not just that she was helpful, but that she consistently treated people with patience, professionalism, and respect even when the office was busy.
