  My only complaint had to do with the customer service we received from the Barstow, CA representative who assisted us. We missed a confirmation of reservation call while we were camping without cell service and called back the day of our reservation on our way to pick up the rental, when we were able to use pur phones again. The woman we spoke to indicated there was no available rental and they were pending returns and we were on a wait list for our rental, despite making a reservation weeks in advance. She said she would let me know as soon as she had a return but if there was none, we would be first on the wait list for the next day. After about two hours I called back and she indicated there had been a return but "there was a problem with the car" and it couldnt be rented. She said there was a man waiting since 8 am and they were still pending returns. She made it seem that there would not be a car for us and it may be best to rent from a different location, which we attempted to find one en route to Barstow, but the only option was three times as much in cost as we had a reservation for. I called the corporate customer service line and was then told the vehicle was in Barstow and ready for us to pick up. I never received a confirmation call from Barstow however and didnt fully believe our car was there. When we arrived, it was ready and waiting. The rep indicated it was the one that had a problem but they took it to the shop. I asked the problem and she said it needed an oil change. There was considerable undue stress caused by this rental person who said we may need to cancel, that she would contact us as soon as she had information, didn't, and then the car was in fact there for us and there did not appear to be any issue once we arrived. The unprofessinalism exhibited was horrible. We thought we would have to travel to Las Vegas to get a rental due to the timing of the reservation and other stores being closed. 0/5 for customer service. The rental itself was perfectly acceptable. Getting the rental was a very bad experience

  We had an issue the the car we rented and had to trade it out, the employees were great at trading it out for us, however the were angry, seemed put out and complained that they only get junk cars and never get anything good to rent, they only get the trade in or broken ones. Overall they did get us into a different car, but the attitude of the employees were terrible.

  I like the customer service, awesome team. I was also happy that cars were available to rent. The vehicle was clean and ready to go. This was a great experience with Barstow Enterprise.

  First, let me say the people that work here are wonderful humans. This review is not toward them in anyway. However, enterprise is the absolute worst out here. This now marks not 1, not 2, but 3 times I have reserved and checked in to rent a car paid for the Lyft in which I am 120 dollars deep in wasted Lyfts to show up and be told there are no cars. Something has to be done about this system. Stop allowing people to confirm and rent cars if there are none. People make plans and tell friends and family they’re coming and you ruin it by not being a company we can count on.
