  Overall, the work done on my Camaro was solid, and I’m happy with the quality of the repairs. The mechanics clearly know what they’re doing, and the car runs great. However, the biggest issue was the lack of communication throughout the process. I was repeatedly told I would receive updates or a call back, but that rarely happened. I often had to reach out myself just to find out what was going on with my car. The information I received was also inconsistent, which made the experience frustrating and stressful. While I appreciate the quality of the work, customer service is just as important. Better communication, consistent updates, and following through on promised callbacks would make a huge difference. If they improve their customer service, I would have no problem recommending them.

  Clean. Fast service. Smog check $70 + 8.25 certificate. My car didn't pass due to non-operation x 1.5 yrs. Battery was off, sensors off, data can't be retrieved. So,was told to drive car for 50 miles no faster than 55mph. Bring back next day for retest. No retest fee. Excellent.

  I really wanted to give them 100 stars .... They really are great. Quick. And everyone had the best customer service I've experienced at any type of auto place ever in my life. However 😩 I am not from Bakersfield. When I asked my phone to take me to a place of which I had a coupon for, it took me here. I presented the coupon upon checkin. At no point did anyone point out that that wasn't their coupon. Or anything. As they rang me up I was like.... Uh, wait a minute.... I asked about the coupon and the gentleman (super great by the way at what he does) said it wasn't their coupon. Yes, I'm at fault too because I should have slowed down and checked myself. But again it wasn't pointed out until after the service was done. Overall I do recommend them. I'd definitely go back. Just didn't appreciate that.

  Excellent service! Knowledgeable! They had my truck serviced and the documentation sent electronically to Sacramento in the shortest amount of time that I have ever had to wait for a Smog Certificate. Speed A Way Smog will be my go-to smog shop hence forth!
