  I made an appointment with R and J Automotive after being given a quote for repairs/replacement from a Toyota Maintenance service center. After seeing what the maintenance center recommended, I had a feeling that they were a bit overboard with the amount of money the repairs would cost and how many service items they recommended. I was able to get an appointment with R and J, and they got me in for a service. They were honest, reasonable, and very articulate. They did an oil change, a drain and fill on my transmission, and a vehicle inspection to double-check what service items that they Toyota maintenance center recommended. R and J completed what actually needed to be done for a great price and also cleared up all the “extra” things that they Toyota Maintence center recommended. I recommend R and J Automotive, and I am very grateful for their business, honesty, and work ethic. Thank you! Johnny

  Great shop! Family owned and run. Had an issue with brakes. I couldn’t figure out problem took the car to R and J and Steve found the issue. Turns out the new rear drums I installed were out of round and made the whole car shake when you hit the brakes. They replaced the drums didn’t try and up sell me a bunch of crap I didn’t need. Johnny the service writer is very personable. And the job didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I am very happy with the experience. Thank you Steve and Johnny

  Fair and honest prices, great service, all around excellent automotive shop. The staff is approachable, knowledgeable and take the time to explain repairs in a way that makes sense to those who may have no concept of how an engine works. They've never tried to upsell any services to me, and through various conversations I can tell they try to do repairs as affordably as they're able without sacrificing quality. They've taken care of every issue I've brought to them quickly, professionally and with great care. Thanks Steve, Johnny and team!
