The dealership is clean, and the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the numbers simply didn’t make sense.
We were looking to trade in our 2024 Subaru Crosstrek after about 34 months. This dealership offered us $23,000. For comparison, another Subaru dealership nearby offered $24,500, a local used-car dealership offered $26,000, and a large online retailer offered $27,000 for the exact same vehicle.
What was especially disappointing is that Subaru is well known for its strong resale value. Industry data generally shows a 3-year depreciation of only about 10–17% for a Subaru Crosstrek, making it one of the strongest vehicles in its class for value retention. Yet the trade-in offer we received represented roughly 28% depreciation. When the approximately $900–950 in dealer-installed accessories and fees (window tint, door edge guards, etc.) are also taken into account, our effective loss would have been closer to 30% had we accepted the deal.
In addition, this dealership’s documentation and dealer fees were several hundred dollars higher than those of competing dealers, and their financing rates were among the least competitive we found.
While the staff was courteous and the dealership itself was pleasant, we left questioning whether their trade-in valuations truly reflect Subaru’s reputation for excellent value retention. Ultimately, the combination of a low trade-in offer, higher fees, and less competitive financing led us to purchase elsewhere.
We genuinely wanted to do business with Subaru of Tucson, but unfortunately, we walked away and will likely not return.
I got my Crosstrek last week and had Edgar as my salesman and Tracy as finance both were helpful throughout the process. Edgar was quick to respond to any calls and messages I had. Would recommend them 10/10

My experience with Layla Lopez @ Tucson Subaru was about as easy and smooth as I could have asked for! Layla helped me through every step of the process while being professional and keeping things light. She was extremely communicative and helpful when it came to trade in as well as any questions I had along the way. From test drive to purchase she was involved every step of the way! I had an outstanding experience with Dan at Tucson Subaru during my 60,000-mile service appointment.
From start to finish, Dan was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He took the time to walk me through everything that needed to be done, answered all of my questions, and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. What I especially appreciated was how he helped me save money by applying coupons I had available, something he certainly didn't have to do, but it showed that he truly cares about his customers.
Throughout the day, Dan kept me updated on the status of my vehicle, which gave me great peace of mind. His communication was excellent, and I always knew exactly where things stood. Everything was completed smoothly and efficiently, and the loaner vehicle process was seamless as well.
I've had the pleasure of working with Dan before, and once again he exceeded my expectations. It's rare to find someone who consistently delivers such exceptional customer service with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
