  I took my car to Tommy's Express on 22nd St. in Tucson. An attendant used a long-handled scrub brush on the car, to remove bird droppings. He then told me to go through the wash, then come back around to repeat the process. The 2nd time around, a different attendant used the same brush, although rougher this time. I then went through the wash again and drove home. That night, I noticed that the brush had damaged the hood, including rather large scratch marks and damage to the paint. I took the car back to Tommy's the next day to talk about the damage, and met with the 2nd attendant, who looked at the damage and asked for my number. He said a manager would call me. I never heard from a manager. Later, I called again, and eventually met with the manager. The manager saw the damage and took pictures. The manager said he would get back to me, after he "investigated." I never heard from him. After nearly a week of silence, I called the manager. The manager said the damage was not caused by Tommy's, and claimed that because I drove off the property, I caused the damage. Gaslighting. The corporate office wrote: “Each site has its own unique policies and procedures for situations like this.” Indeed. The manager certainly had his own "unique policies and procedures," which was to ignore the evidence and blame the customer. No offer to help was ever made. What a rotten way to run a business. Update: I was contacted by Tommy's stating "appreciating" my review. That was 3 weeks ago. Nothing since. Tommy's caused the damage but has no intention of repairing the car.

  Stay away from this car wash, especially if you work at Davis-Monthan AFB and go to a Mister Car Wash or another similar location instead. The workers here failed to identify a four car pile up collision within their car wash and didn't activate the emergency stop until seconds after the fourth car rear ended third car. If anything, it should have stopped after the first two cars collided, preventing the other cars from getting involved. They refused to take accountability and didn't even provide the three individuals who were service members not even any type of free car washes, nor did they provide any of their insurance information. The first vehicle that was also at fault along with this place did a hit and run because their car was in park and not in neutral, but then none of the employees including the one that guides you in standing by the emergency stop heard all the horns honking inside and didn't see this going on until after four cars got damaged!

  I love this place. Free towels and matt cleaners, friendly and accommodating staff. My only gripe is that the first sprayer on the left side sprays way too hard and is stripping the clear coat on my car only in that one exact spot where it sprays. But overall I recommend highly💯💯💯

  Tommy's car wash is taking 2 payments a month from people's bank.They owe me 225 dollars in overdraft .Maybe they are only doing it to old people but you better watch your bank account. They said they would put it back but never did..
