  Great experience. Knowledgeable and helpful tech caught an issue, told us about it so we had the option to reschedule, call our insurance company and get it dealt with properly. Second tech that came out was equally knowledgeable and helpful and did a great job.

  Service at the Kolb Rd facility was easy to find and a shorter than expected wait time. They were very clear about how to handle the replacement after leaving facility. All so pleasant and easy to talk with. Thank you!!

  1. Came out the next day, wrong windshield; verified VIN reordered. 2. Came out a couple days later, wrong again; re-verified VIN and reordered. 3. Came out a week later, correct windshield. The tech saved the day (twice) by noticing the windshield they gave him was not right.

Always on time, let me know ahead they are on their way, professional, quick and clean work I can't say enough about the company, the technician and the work they do. I have used them several times and it is constantly the best service ever!

  I had an appointment for a Safelite technician to come out to my home on a Thursday. The time I was given between 8 and noon. At about 9 am on that date I received a call from Safelite but I was on the phone with my sister discussing our younger brother who had experienced a major stroke. So, I was not going to take Safelite's incoming call. But, as soon as I completed my call with my sister (which was about another 15 to 20 minutes), I immediately checked to see if Safelite had left me a voice-mail message. There was no message from Safelite. I assumed the message was about providing me with a more specific time than the initial 4 hour period I was given. After I checkws for a voice-mail message from Safelite, which as I said there was none, I tried calling Safelite's office at 1402 S. Kolb in Tucson. The phone rang about 15 times, no one picked up and there was no opportunity to leave a voice-mail message. Over the next hour and a half I tried 3 more times to call, the second and third times, again no one answered and I could not leave a message. Finally, on my fourth attempt of the day, someone finally answered to the phone. I identified myself and asked what was going on and the receptionist informed me that the technician who was to show up at my home to replace my front windshield did not show up to work that day so Safelite was calling to cancel my appointment. I was a little annoyed because of 1) no message left for me to inform me of the cancelation, and 2) it took me 4 tries to finally have someone pick up the phone, 3) Safelite had already wasted 2.5 hours of my Thursday morning. When I told her how I felt (that i was not pleased) she snapped back at me to tell me she had indeed left a message (a lie) and, furthermore, she was alone in the office and was doing the best she could and she didn't have time to set up an answering machine to permit anyone to leave a message for her. She asked me if I wanted to set up another home appointment for the next day, but I told her I did not want to take a chance of the same thing happening on Friday, so I made an appointment to bring my car in the next day, Friday, at 10:30 am. The next day I dropped my car off at 10:00 am and the receptionist told me it would be 2 to 3 hours. Well at about 4:30 pm that day I received a phone message that my car was ready and they closed at 5:00 pm. I was barely able to make it there in time to pick up my car by 5. When I showed up, i received no apology from the receptionist about it taking more than 6 hours to do the work; she acted as if everything had gone on perfect for me rather than acknowledge the very difficult experience Safelite had put me through. As the result of my foregoing experience, I called the company's general corporate number to file a complaint. It is Monday morning and I haven't heard from anyone at Safelite yet.
