Terrible experience, on their policy says they take debit cards, but they don't. They ran my card, took the money and ended up voiding my rental contract. 2 weeks after that they still have almost 800 dollars hooked from my debit card. Customer service says I just have to wait till the money is no longer "Pending" and it can take up to 30 business days?!?
Only thing they say it "Sorry for the inconvenience", no answer or wanting to help.
Never going to them again.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience renting from Enterprise at Tucson Airport. What should have been a simple rental turned into hours of frustration due to misinformation, poor customer service, and serious safety concerns.
When I picked up my rental, I asked about adding my adult son as an additional driver. I was initially told in person at the counter he simply needed to be present and that there would be a $25 daily fee. I agreed and left to pick him up. Before returning, I called Enterprise 1-800, to see if it could be done over the phone due to the long drive. This time I was told it had to be done in person and would cost $40 per day instead. Although frustrated by the conflicting information, I drove the 45 minutes back to the airport with my son.
When we arrived, I was told he could not be added at all. I received three different answers from three different Enterprise employees. They blamed each other, and I was even told the Enterprise 1-800 representatives “don’t know anything” and “often lie to customers.” It is unacceptable that employees openly discredit one another while customers waste valuable vacation time trying to get accurate information. This alone cost me several hours of my valuable vacation time to attempt to resolve.
The problems didn’t stop there. The vehicle was not clean when I picked it up, and on the second day the check engine light and service warning light both came on. I contacted Enterprise and was instructed to drive the vehicle back to the airport location, another 45-minute trip to swap the vehicle out.
While there, I again asked about adding my son and was given yet another explanation—that he couldn’t be added because he doesn’t live with me. My son is an active duty member of the U.S. military, and no one could provide a consistent explanation of the policy.
I also spoke with the branch manager, who was dismissive and rude. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, she stated that the Enterprise 1-800 representatives “always lie to customers” and said there was nothing she could do.
What concerns me most is how the vehicle issue was handled. Instead of inspecting, repairing, or replacing the vehicle after the warning lights appeared, like I was told on the phone would happen, the staff simply cleared the check engine and service lights and sent me back out in the same vehicle. I sat in vehicle and watched them just clear the warning lights! No repairs were made, no replacement was offered, and no effort was made to ensure the vehicle was safe to drive. That is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about Enterprise’s commitment to customer safety.
This experience showed a complete lack of communication, accountability, professionalism, and concern for customer satisfaction. I expect Enterprise to investigate this incident, improve employee training so customers receive accurate information, review how this vehicle was handled, and provide appropriate compensation for the wasted vacation time, multiple unnecessary trips to the airport, and unacceptable level of service I received.
