SPRINGTIME MAINTENANCE FOR SMOOTH RIDES AHEAD

Batteries

Cold weather takes its toll on batteries. Now that winter is behind us, stop by for a free battery check to make sure your car has the power for smooth operation in the springtime weather. If you need a new one, we carry batteries with proven tough coverage from Duralast, plus performance options like Optima and Odyssey and economical buys from Valucraft. We have everything you need to keep your car powered all year long.

Brakes

Springtime brings sunny days and much needed rain. Stop on a dime year round with brake system maintenance. Reliable stopping starts at AutoZone. Get Duralast brakes that meet or exceed OE, economical options from Valucraft, or performance brakes from Brembo, EBC, and more.

Motor Oil

When the temperature warms up the oil in your vehicle thins, which can strain your engine if too thin. When shopping oil for warmer months, use thicker oil. It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

Windshield Wipers

Windshield Wiper Blades should be replaced every six months to a year. A fresh set of wiper blades are important for spring months. Cool conditions can make dirt, pollen, and water more stubborn to wipe away, increasing the wear and tear on your wipers.

I went to Autozone on Friday because my car battery was acting up while driving. The one guy with the air pods tested my battery and said that everything was good. It’s strange because my battery indicator was on while my car was just messed up when I was driving before I arrived at this Autozone and their device said it was good? I told the guy with the air pods I wanted a new battery because it’s been 3 years old and it’s time to get a replacement since it’s acting up. So I bought the battery at the front desk. The guy with the headphones installed the battery on backwards and basically the car horn was going off. He took it out and put it on the right way. Everything seemed good until they started to try to configure their device so my car can go in sync with the computer for my car getting back to normal. All my indicator lights were on including the battery which is crazy since they just installed the new one. That had to mean my alternator was messed up even though they tested it and said that it was running fine. So I had a tough time steering the wheel since that indicator was on and I was messing around with it with an Autozone employee for like 30 min trying to get the indicator to go away by driving around the shopping center like your running laps and turning the steering wheel different directions. Since Autozone in this location couldn’t figure it out, they sent me to a different Autozone to see what the problem was and I go there. The Autozone employee at this other place tested my vehicle and he told me my alternator failed. I took my car to O Riley’s auto parts to buy an alternator for $500 and sent my car to pep boys to install it. Pep boys installed the alternator but couldn’t fix the steering wheel indicator since it was still on and the steering wheel was very stiff. I had to leave my car there for another day. The next day, pep boys diagnosed the problem and said that you have a blown fuse caused by the Autozone employee putting it on backwards. I had to spend $300 for them to fix that which is crazy. I wasted 2 hours at this location trying to figure out what’s wrong with my car at and getting my money back from what the Autozone employee did putting the battery on backwards and caused a blown fuse to where I couldn’t steer. I don’t recommend going to this Autozone and I would give this place 0 stars for wasting my time. Autozone needs to train their employees right and get better equipment.

i don’t ever leave reviews but as soon as we met warren today i knew i had to leave one. i have never met an auto zone worker put as much help into helping customers as i did today. he personally got into my vehicle (with my permission of course) and helped me and my boyfriend figure out what was going on with my car after mechanics were closed. he didn't stop until he checked everything. he had known we were aways away from home so he reassured us that the noise we were hearing was just from something small and something my bf could DIY fix himself. absolute above and beyond i felt like i was being seen by a mechanic. will definitely be back just from this one helpful experience.

Brian and Warner were over and beyond to help us with my son’s car we came in worried and overwhelmed but left feeling confident and a weight lifted off our shoulders if you’re looking for a place where they aren’t trying to scam you out your money and actually trying to help come to this Autozone

Warner was one of the best managers I've ever met. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and went the extra mile to help in figuring out what was happening with my Nissan. He explained what could potentially be going on, and spent the time to check each option out as he thought through it and tried to help me understand what was going on in his mind. He printed off material I would need to continue solving the potential, and called another store to ensure they had a part I may need in the future. Overall, exceptional service, very pleased and impressed.
