Stopped by about 10 days ago and needed the oil change on my diesel truck. They pull me into the bay and start the process, even removing the oil filter. They then soon realized they did not have the appropriate diesel oil. They wanted to push me into using a much lighter weight oil and assured me it was the "new" standard. I declined. The area manager was in the shop when this happened and she assured me she was going that day to buy some oil and put my name on it so I can return later the following week for a proper oil change. Since the technician had already removed my oil filter they had to replace it with a new one. They actually pulled the oil dipstick to show me "NO OIL" was registered on the now quart low diesel dipstick. I did say I lived close and had some oil at home I could put in when I got there. So the next week comes and I go in for the oil change only to find out the area manager never bothered to get the oil for me. Dang, now I was a bit let down and at this point so I decided to go to Jiffy Lube off Bell road. When I get the truck to Jiffy Lube, they had one heck of a hard time trying to remove the brand new oil filter that Valvoline had just out on a week before. So difficult in fact the Jiffy Lube technician had to resort to adjustable pliers to ever so slowly unscrew the filter. Valvoline you should be ashamed of yourself and your team in Surprise. It starts at the top and your manager is failing. I have been a long time Valvoline customer, but I will drive the extra miles for a business who has my best interest in mind.

Such a great experience getting my oil changed! Everyone was so nice, and the customer service was excellent. I initially asked if they could finish before my daughter had school, but told them I was happy to come back if needed. They still made sure to get me in right away and finished quickly! I really appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating they were. Highly recommend!

Fast service. Honest answers and took my coupon. Filled tires to spec, topped off my washer fluid and checked lights battery and air filters. Much better than my last visit at another location. This is going to be my go to location if this service is consistent, and I feel it will be.

Decided to try this place since it’s near where we live. Got a $25 coupon in the mail. Literally got my oil changed this morning and oil light came on for the first time that I’ve ever had this car since 2019. We were away from home so we had to stop at O’Reilly’s. Purchased oil and added half a quart because we didn’t want to risk continuing to drive with a low oil warning. The light is still intermittently coming on and off, so now I have to spend additional time figuring out what is going on with a car that had absolutely no oil warning prior to today’s service. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating after paying $100 for an oil change. Definitely won’t be returning or recommending.

The staff (Jacob&Korrey)was incredibly kind, polite, and professional. They took the time to walk me through everything I needed to know and made the whole process very easy. I really liked this place and the way I was treated. I would definitely recommend Valvoline instant oil change on 163rd to anyone looking for a professional and welcoming experience. While waiting in the car for a quick change.
