What a horrible experience - two vehicles brought to Safelite, and both ended up with damage. Earlier this year, I scheduled a mobile windshield replacement for my Jeep Wrangler. During the installation, the technician damaged the cowl panel, as shown in the photos. I also questioned the timing of the technician’s “before” and “after” photos, which appeared to suggest the damage was already there - he tried to cover it up, and Safelite finally admitted it. The windshield installation itself was poor and required a second attempt. It took four visits to Safelite to get the issue addressed. They eventually referred me to Classic Collision for the body repairs, and they did a terrible job as well... I hoped the Jeep experience was an isolated incident, so a couple of weeks ago I brought my company vehicle, a Honda CR-V, to Safelite. Unfortunately, I’m dealing with another poor installation. There is a noticeable gap around the windshield, and last night I discovered two dents in the surrounding trim. Both issues are pictured. Windshield replacement is Safelite’s core service, so I expected proper installation and care for the vehicles entrusted to them. Instead, I’ve dealt with repeated visits, poor workmanship, and damage on two separate vehicles. I will never bring another vehicle to Safelite. For anyone considering other options in the Phoenix area, alternatives include NOVUS Glass of Phoenix, Auto Glass Now, Southwest Auto Glass, and Glass Act Windshield Services. Do NOT go to Safelite.

The Safelite Scottsdale, AZ staff did an extraordinary job replacing my vehicle’s front-windshield. I went in thinking that a spot chip needed repair when it was determined that the entire window needed replacement. My auto insurance covered the work they did which also included tinting the glass as it was before. Very pleased with their service and the time it took to complete. Kudos to Joshua, Ethan and Luke for their help to ensure that the job was done right. I highly recommend their work!
