We had a wonderful stay and the staff was very helpful and accommodating, we changed our camping spot several times and it was no problem. The manager Jeff was so nice and answered every question we had. We will spend a lot of time there this summer ☀️

The boat was fine, the environment was fine, the gal at the front desk was great. We went about 7 miles to a suggested landmark and then perhaps proceeded at most 2 miles beyond that. Then, we drifted. On our return, we stopped off at a suggested (and beautiful) cove. That did not add more than a mile in total and we completely floated in this cove. So, we probably went a total 18 miles out and then back in. There is no gas gauge on the boat and when the attendant filled it up, it took about 17 gallons or $88 plus some change! So essentially, that suggests we got about 1 mile per gallon! No way. Oh, the water was calm with only a mild breeze. Plus, there was only 2 of us. I looked up Aloha 22 foot pontoon and even at cruising speed, they get about 5-6 mpg. So, this suggests we used 17 gallons cruising (at most) 20 - 25 minutes. I don't think so. I am guessing the tank was no where near full when we got it. How would we know? There was no gas gauge. I'm pretty disappointed, feeling we got ripped.
