Everyone there was so helpful, from the time I checked in, to transportation for the rv park down to the water, to helping me put my boat in and out of the water. Even my miniature Aussie was treated great by everyone who worked with the marina. Definitely will be staying there again.

We went into the store out of curiosity. It has all the very basic things you might need if you're playing at the lake. Limited food [mostly snacks], some drinks, fishing and camping items, clothing with Roosevelt Lake stuff advertised on them. The prices are kinda high since they have stuff trucked in. It's a handy place if they have what you need. Try not to forget anything is what I walked out thinking, based on prices and the limited amount of available goods.

The RV spots are great, reasonable rates with power included. We chose to do power only but can get full hook up which we didn't need for a 3-4 night stay. Also we were able to have a wet slip for a reasonable rate for the same time period which made getting on and off lake much easier. Only down side from our limited interactions, storage rates are apparently a well-guarded secret and you have to talk to a manager to even try and get one and that person was busy every time we tried to speak with one. We were "quoted" a rate, but it was unofficial and when I asked to take a picture of the rate card, cause they don't post rates ANYWHERE, I was told no picture and that the rates are not generally available.. that makes no sense unless, they just make it up with each customer.

During my stay, the staff did everything they could to be kind and accommodating. We got there early and luckily our site was available so we didn't have to wait. All you would need to do is call and they will pick you up on a golf cart and bring you to the shop, or restaurant. The place was very cool in that sense. Now I must say that I stayed in a tent and it felt like this place was set up more for the RV, but that's only because of the peer heat that was endured. It was 114 and the tent life was miserable. But the rv park had a store where I got ice and fishing baits, beer and energy drinks. I never ate at the restaurant cuz I had brought my Dog with me, but I bet that AC felt nice. They had a boat launching ramp with ample places to park your trailer. there was even a beach off to the side that the dog, and I spent most of our time in the water at. the campsites were far from the water, meaning you could probably walk, but I wasn't, so we drove to fish and drove to swim. Overall, it was cool. And I wish I would have went in the spring or fall. Too HOT!

If you’re looking for what I believe is one of the absolute best lake destinations in Arizona, look no further than Roosevelt Lake. This place is something special. Whether you’re coming for a relaxing weekend, a family vacation, a day on the water, fishing, boating, camping, or simply wanting to get away from the craziness of everyday life, Roosevelt Lake has everything you could possibly want for an incredible Arizona adventure. What makes Roosevelt Lake stand out to me is the sheer size and variety of the lake. With approximately 128 miles of shoreline, there is so much room to explore, and every trip can feel like a completely different experience. (Visit Arizona) You can spend the day cruising around on a boat, finding a quiet cove, fishing, swimming, enjoying water sports, or simply anchoring somewhere beautiful and taking in the scenery. The landscape surrounding the lake is absolutely gorgeous. Arizona has a reputation for being hot, dry, and covered in desert, but Roosevelt Lake shows just how beautiful the Arizona outdoors can be. The combination of deep blue water, rugged mountains, desert scenery, rocky shoreline, and wide-open skies creates an incredible backdrop. There are moments when you’re sitting on the water looking around and thinking, “How is this actually Arizona?” For anyone who loves boating, this is a dream destination. Roosevelt Lake has plenty of room to get out on the water and enjoy your boat without feeling like you’re stuck in one tiny section of a lake. Arizona even highlights Roosevelt Lake as a major destination for motorized water recreation, including water skiing and personal watercraft. There are also multiple boat launches, making it convenient for people bringing their own boats. (Visit Arizona) Fishing is another huge reason to love this place. There’s something incredibly relaxing about getting up early, getting out on the water, finding a quiet spot, and spending the morning fishing while the sun comes up over the Arizona landscape. Even if you don’t catch anything, the experience itself is worth it. And when you do catch something, it makes the day that much better. But honestly, you don’t have to be an angler or a serious boater to appreciate Roosevelt Lake. It’s just an amazing place to spend time with people you care about. Bring your family, your friends, your significant other, your camping gear, your boat, your fishing poles, and plenty of food and drinks, and you have everything you need for an unforgettable getaway. One of my favorite things about lake trips is that they give everyone a chance to disconnect. You can wake up early, spend the morning on the water, enjoy a great lunch, swim or explore during the afternoon, watch the sunset in the evening, and sit around afterward telling stories and laughing about the day. Those are the kinds of memories that stick with you. Roosevelt Lake also has a fantastic sense of adventure. It doesn’t feel like an artificial resort where everything is perfectly manicured and predictable. There’s a genuine outdoorsy feeling here. The surrounding Tonto National Forest adds even more to the experience, making the area feel like a true escape from the city. (Visit Arizona) And the scenery is absolutely spectacular at sunset. Arizona sunsets are already famous, but watching the sky change colors over the lake and surrounding mountains is something you really have to experience for yourself. The reflection of the sky on the water, the mountains in the distance, and the peacefulness of the evening make it incredibly easy to understand why people come back year after year. For anyone coming from the Phoenix area, Roosevelt Lake is also a fantastic escape from the heat and routine of the Valley. The drive becomes part of the adventure, and once you arrive, it feels like you’re much farther away than you actually are. Another thing I love is that you can make your Roosevelt Lake experience whatever you want it to be. Want an action-packed weekend? Bring the boat and spend the entire day on the water. Want a relaxing getaway?
