online request and payment was easy , tech did ok , they inferred that I owed 70.00 more after I paid online in full but they quickly resolved that when I said don’t show up expecting 70.00 , I sent a question on why the vin was now obscured but that went unanswered so hopefully it is a non issue you will likely get bombarded with safelite updates and ads for a while SZ (yes pic is poor sry)

I’m very frustrated with Safelite Auto Glass. They promised to service my vehicle at my home, made an appointment, and then found out that the windshield for my Pacific vehicle was backordered. They did not communicate through the proper channel we had established. They sent a generic email without even listing Safelite Auto Glass and canceled my appointment. I spent the whole afternoon at home, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., with no technician arriving. After realizing that no technician had arrived, I found a generic email saying they had canceled my appointment, even though they had agreed to communicate by text. I'm unhappy that I lost a whole afternoon. I was also promised that the vehicle would be serviced at my home, but after making the appointment for that location, they changed it and said it had to be done at the Safelite Auto Glass shop because of the accident-avoidance system calibration. That should have been caught when the appointment was booked, not later. The convenience of using Safelite Auto Glass, advertised as coming to your house to service your vehicle, turned out to be a false promise and cost them my confidence.

I had booked an appointment for windshield replacement last week. Unfortunately, I was having to pay out of pocket due to an insurance issue. I prepaid so I didn’t have to worry about paying later. When they arrived to my house, I was told they could not do the install as they needed to order “clips” that go around the windshield under the molding strip. They told me they were broken. They said they had to order them from the Infinity dealer and they would call me with the cost. Two days later they called and told me I would need twelve clips total and it would be $516 in addition to the $500+ I already paid for the windshield! I smelled a rat. I called the Infinity dealer and they gave me the number to Excalibur Autoglass. This wasn’t the first time they heard this story. They were able to come out today and replace my windshield. Only ONE clip was broken and they only cost $3.00 and there is only eight total on my car to begin with! What a scam Safelite was trying to pull!! They wanted to charge me over $500 for a $3.00 part! I will NEVER allow them to touch any of my vehicles ever again! If you ever need a windshield replacement please use Excalibur Autoglass!!

I scheduled a mobile windshield replacement through the Safelite Queen Creek location at 22325 S Scotland Court for a 2006 Buick Rendezvous. This is not the easiest windshield to replace, which is exactly why I chose a large nationwide glass company. I expected the experience and resources of Safelite to give us the best possible outcome. Instead, the installation had multiple problems almost immediately. The molding was already pulling away at both lower corners, and the upper molding did not properly meet the existing weather stripping, leaving portions exposed. The next day it rained. When the windshield wipers were turned on, they came loose, dropped against the glass, and screeched across the newly installed windshield. We then discovered damage to the new glass, including an impact mark/crack near the center where the wiper arm appears to have struck it. I opened a warranty claim. Safelite sent a representative to my home to inspect the vehicle, requested additional photographs, created a warranty work order, and scheduled corrective service for October 1. I was later told that Safelite technicians do not touch the wipers as a matter of policy. That explanation does not match what actually happened. My Ring camera recorded the technicians removing the wipers during the windshield installation. On the morning of the scheduled warranty service, the location manager apparently decided the windshield claim would no longer be honored. I was not contacted by phone or email to explain that the decision had changed. Instead, another technician was sent to my home to install replacement wiper blades on the already damaged windshield and tell me that the windshield itself would not be replaced. I then attempted to speak directly with the people involved and was told that both the original technician and the location manager were unavailable in meetings. I was also told I would need to schedule another appointment and bring the vehicle to the Queen Creek store. At that point Safelite had already inspected the vehicle at my home, reviewed photographs, opened a warranty work order, and scheduled corrective service. I still have not been given a reasonable explanation for what another inspection is supposed to establish. This was not a complaint about a minor cosmetic issue. The installation left improperly fitted exterior molding, damaged wipers, and damage to a brand-new windshield. Replacing the wiper blades does not resolve the damage to the glass or the installation problems. I chose Safelite specifically because I believed a nationwide company would be the safer choice for a more difficult windshield replacement. Instead, I am approximately $300 out of pocket with a newly installed windshield that is already damaged and molding that was not properly fitted. Mistakes can happen during any repair. What matters is how a company responds after the problem is reported. In this case, I received conflicting explanations, a warranty appointment that was reversed the morning of service, no direct communication about that reversal, and no resolution of the actual damage. I am currently awaiting a callback from the district manager and will update this review based on how Safelite ultimately handles the matter.
