    My EXPERIENCE TODAY WITH SIXT Was unexplainable.Inthe Past Sixt has been amazing, No issue 100 percent excellent. Unfortunately Dallas Texas needs to be better and get better. We called about the same car we just rented in Phoenix AZ and the customer service was unexceptable The Agent Hung up for no reason literally. He quote one price and then said what time we said the time 3 times. He HUNG UP, We attempt to callback and we're on Hold 53 minutes YES 53 MINUTES, The customer service agent this time said what was the quote we told him we were done with that he then said well It now goes up $75 dollars we said explain this please he said I just told you the rate, I said the conversation prior stated he said I know, Do you want it or not. What??? Wow??? He disconnected the phone again. This time we called from another number and Got Mr.J absolutely wonderful he gave me email addresses for Phoenix my past amazing experience and Dallas a different type of Experience. We are officially waiting to hear back from someone MANAGEMENT AT THIS POINT. SIXT Has Never ever been Known for Cruelty Inthe Past Today I experienced it all. Not OKAY

    Worst experience ever, first of all I made reservation that was prepaid on May 20 to pick up the dar today July 1st they take my payment, today when I stop by to get the car at the Phoenix Sky Harbor, the associate told me that I was not gonna be able to get the car because I was blocked to rent car from them, I been renting from them several times before and never got any issue and I always treat their cars like it was my own car, guy at the counter just said that I was blocked and he did refer me to call customer service which is something that I did after being with them for good 10 minutes they just said that they do not know why I am blocked and they have not way to solved the issue or remove the blocked just to said that my reservation was gonna be cancelled and my money was gonna be refunded and now I am screwed at the airport with no car to move around Why they take my reservation and the money out of my credit card to start? They should be declined my reservation since the beginning They should have the courtesy of somehow notified me that my rental was gonna be declined, that way I could get time to look elsewhere might be an email or something to letting me know Basically the associate told told me and this are his words You are blocked,I was ok now what I do? He said you can call customer service or you can always rent elsewhere they are plenty of places here and they have cars, that was not the point because my reservation was made and prepaid also insurance was paid through my credit card the same day I made the reservation, I don’t think is the right way to treat customers luckily I was able to get car from Alamo, but it raised my concerns of what could be happening if there is no cars available with the other car rental companies, Sixt car rental pretty sure you can do better and treat your customers better, to be honest it was horrible experience and they make me feel like delinquent

    I’ve been renting cars for over 40 years, and my experience with SIXT was, without question, the best I’ve ever had. The entire process was quick, easy, and completely hassle-free. The vehicle was spotless—by far the cleanest rental car I’ve ever received. The pricing was excellent, with great value and no surprises. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about making the experience a positive one. SIXT has definitely earned a loyal customer. I won’t hesitate to rent from them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an easy, affordable, and first-class car rental experience.

    Horrible customer service and zero flexibility for newlyweds. Avoid! I am incredibly frustrated with the complete lack of customer service and absolute rigidity at this SIXT location. My wife and I just got married, and we ran into a massive bureaucratic wall trying to pick up our car. Because her last name hasn't officially updated on her credit card yet to match our reservation, they refused to accept her credit card. To make matters worse, they completely refused to let me use my credit card to secure the rental. If you are going through a name change, traveling for a honeymoon, or just expect basic helpfulness from a car rental company, book with someone else. SIXT cares more about strict corporate bureaucracy than actual paying customers. Ruined the start of our trip.

    I had a very frustrating experience with Sixt in Phoenix and would not recommend this location based on how my situation has been handled. After returning my rental, I was later notified, days afterward, of damage being reported on the vehicle (dated May 21). The issue is that I was never made aware of any damage at the time of return, nor was I asked to review or acknowledge anything during the handoff. The alleged damage consists of two very small dents that I did not notice during my rental period. Because this was not identified or discussed when I returned the vehicle, I have no way to verify when or how this damage occurred. From my perspective, it appears the damage was documented after the rental was already complete, which raises concerns about the accuracy and handling of their inspection process. Equally concerning has been the complete lack of communication from their claims department. Over the past month, I have emailed weekly requesting an update on my dispute and have not received a single response. Calling in has been just as ineffective, I’ve either been transferred repeatedly between representatives or had calls drop while on hold. Attempting to request a callback online has not resulted in any follow-up. Given the circumstances, I’ve requested standard documentation to properly review the claim, including: Time-stamped pre- and post-rental inspection reports Clear photos showing the vehicle condition at pickup and return Confirmation that the damage was not pre-existing Documentation that the vehicle was not handled or moved after my return A detailed, itemized repair estimate Confirmation of whether a return inspection was completed in my presence To date, none of this has been provided. I am currently reviewing this matter with my insurance provider and do not accept liability pending proper documentation. Overall, the combination of delayed reporting, lack of transparency, and poor customer service has made this an extremely disappointing experience.
