The employee (Dion, if I remember correctly) told me about the membership options and I said no thank you. He noticed the sticker on my windshield from the competitor and said “well why don’t you go there, it’s only like 2 miles away?” Wow, ok, so you can just turn business away? Against my better judgement I went to Quick Quack after that. I know that they have goals regarding how many memberships they sign up but no means no!! I wanted a quick wash and I was met with so much push back. I think I said “no, thank you” at least 9 times. If this were a man at a bar it would be wildly unacceptable yet as a sales tactic it’s somehow ok? I have no issues with the cleanliness of my car. It’s always been what to expect from a budget drive-thru car wash. My issue is 100% with the pushy sales tactics and disrespect when declining the memberships. Definitely would not recommend Quick Quack

I closed the door to hang up the vacuum and my keys, phone and purse were locked inside. It would be 2 hours for roadside assistance. I would like to commend Dion for being an outstanding person. I live close by and Dion got me a return trip Uber and paid for it up front so I could get my spare key. When I got back and gave him the money, I told him that my daughter was in the hospital and because of him, I made it back to my phone in time to call her during the allowed time frame. Dion went above and beyond without knowing what I was up against. Thank you

I understand that the employees have an expectation and probably a quota they need to meet to push a membership. But when asked at the beginning of our conversation, "What membership can I get you signed up for today" and a response followed of "I would not like a membership at this time, just a wash today", should have implied I am not interested. However, the employee whose name was Nathan continued to push and push to the point where I quit talking and almost asked to leave. I was nothing but polite the whole encounter. In customer service context, ignoring a clear "no" crosses the line from assertive selling into unethical pushiness and boundary violation. After this experience, I plan to look for a self service wash. I do not want to have to defend a decision I make for 5 minutes when I am simply going for a car wash and paying for services anyway. No thanks.

Most standard vehicles can go through our wash, but we cannot accommodate the following: • Vehicles taller than 7 feet 2 inches • Tire widths over 13.5 inches • Dually trucks • Vehicles with bike racks or certain hitches • Trucks with debris in the bed • Vehicles with hardened mud • Vehicles with storage pods or ladder racks If you’re unsure, our Team Members can inspect your vehicle for wash eligibility.
