  Yesterday I visited the Quick Quack Car Wash at 35th Ave and Bethany Home Rd. I pulled into the one-time wash lane and clearly told the employee I only wanted a single car wash. Instead of processing the one-time wash, he immediately started asking which membership I wanted. I explained multiple times that I did not want a membership because the vehicle was not mine and I only needed one wash. He continued pressuring me to sign up and repeatedly told me he could get fired if I did not purchase a membership. He also kept explaining how the membership would save me money, even after I clearly declined several times. I eventually asked to speak with a manager because I felt uncomfortable with how much pressure he was putting on me. He told me there was no manager there and only two employees were working. After I asked for a manager, he finally agreed to let us purchase the one-time wash, but his attitude changed and the interaction felt unprofessional. I’m leaving this review because customers should be able to purchase a one-time wash without feeling pressured into a membership. I don’t know whether employees are instructed to push memberships this aggressively or whether this was one employee’s approach, but repeatedly telling a customer you could lose your job if they do not sign up is inappropriate. Quick Quack clearly has separate lanes for members and one-time wash customers, and I was in the one-time wash lane. I hope management reviews this situation and makes sure employees respect customers when they clearly decline a membership.

  DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT BRING ANY VEHICLE OVER 5 YEARS OLD. If their wash breaks your car, they will deny your claim because your vehicle is "too old." THE WASH IS BROKEN. AGAIN. It will not wash the back window of a sedan. I was told by an employee that there is a maintenance issue and that is the reason that after two passes my car could not get properly washed. Because I purchased a membership I was told I have to contact customer service to get a refund. When I called customer service they said I have to contact the store leader who is not available until Tuesday. This is some nonsense runaround. Save yourself the trouble. DO NOT COME HERE. Check out how they handle breaking someone's vehicle, even admitting it was their wash that did it, but: "As our signage at the entrance of the wash explains, Quick Quack is responsible only for items that are factory-installed, properly secured, undamaged, and on vehicles **less than FIVE years old.** Your claim was denied because the vehicle exceeded this age limitation." -Official QuickQuack response I don't think I've ever read that on the sign, but even so that is ridiculous. Most car washes wouldn't automatically deny a claim for a vehicle less than 10 years old. This carwash seems to be aware that their equipment is badly maintained and created a liability shield. At least my car is just dirty still, not broken.
