They installed my intoxalock device and they screwed my truck twice first time I did even make to leave the shop I turned on and it started but when I put on drive it stopped. But I noticed that the technician had no experience he told me to leave another day but it took longer when theoretically it was ready I drove out their shop and my truck didn't accelerated so I drove back and they said my truck was like that when I brought it in. I had just bought the truck from a small dealer 2 weeks ago so they suggested me to tell the dealer that the truck was defective when I bought it make long story short they didn't accept their fault

Well first of all I dont like the idea of having a camera in my truck. Second. I realy dont like having them potting holes in my truck for an ear cord that's way to short and can't use. And its probably added to the bill. For something I can't even use anyways. Third I had to take time off work. because they couldn't fine someone to do it after work. The fourth thing is that they dont send the Information to dmv right away. They send it the next day. So there's an other day off work or you have to leave early to be able to get In to dmv. So after speaking with a representative. I was able to get a credit to my account. Now I would say that their really trying to help out as much as they can. We just have to take in mind. That its not only one person that you have to be In contact with. This is a team company and there are steps that we.need to take to make this experience as smoothly as possible.like asking questions before they do any work to our cars, trucks or any transportation that you might use. But after talking with the company we have come to understand each other and came to understand that we both were happy with. So after that experience with the costumer representative I feel much better using their equipment now.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
